Someone posted this earlier on this site, I lost the thread, I read it and have shared it with a lot. I agree with it. Mainly has to do with free rolls but I use it to play ALL, be it chip tables, sng, or free roll/big trny's.
1. Be patient.
I've put this rule first as I believe patience is the number one most important quality required to do well in the freerolls. One important point to bear in mind is that freerolls usually have hundreds of entrants and can take several hours to complete. If you want to be there at the final table you will need to be ery patient.
2. Be Aggressive.
Freerolls are multi-table tournaments and you will usually be seated at a table of ten all the way through the tournament. This is a good thing in a way as it means you don't need to adjust your play to suit a shorter table, but it does mean that when you do have a good hand you need to play it aggressively. Top pairs like Aces and Kings should always be raised strongly pre-flop as they can often co... | | Read Entire Entry |

Im going to go against the flow of most of the posts here and suggest the article does have some merit. Sure, there are things here that I wouldn't do - for example I wouldnt typically limp with AK or QQ. But the central thrust of the article is to wait for big hands prior to putting big money in the pot, and especially not to overcommit of a single pair, which seems pretty sensible to me. The strategy is ery similar to another one espoused here...
No-Limit Texas Hold'em Strategy - Poker-Strategy.org
The strategy seems to be aimed at the low limits, where the play is ery loose and it is often it is hard to put people on a hand. and the authors themselves admit that it is not suitable for all games and especially higher stakes. I thought the way they described leaks and losing streaks was also interesting. So, I gained something from the article, even if I didnt agree with all of it.

What's so funny about this is that there are so many players that play just like this. Limping with Ak and Mid to high PPs. Rating Q-10 the same as AK, etc.
We may laugh but these are the donks that after we get a bad beat we say "how the hell could he have played that hand like that?".
I especially like where he says to fold AK suited to a bet of higher than 2X the BB. Brilliant.

Bet he redirects everyone hes playing to that site to read it to. That way he can triple the BB every hand and know noone is gonna call and he just kicks back collecting blinds all day. Well that and he really really wanted to practice typing Texas Holdem.

I kept looking for a small Texas Holdem disclaimer saying this Texas Holdem site was a parody of a real Texas Holdem strategy site. Texas Holdem!
LOL just found this
If the action has been checked to you make a top pair bet on the flop. That means a bet the size of the pot.

that whole article is so incredibly awful i don't know where to start
only play QQ- for set alue? lol
only play face cards in multiway (>4 player) pots? looool
play Axs from any position and never raise with it (even AKs)? roflololf
basically some idiot thinks he's smart and decided to write a poker guide when in reality he's a weak-tight nit who probably beats 0.01/0.02 NL for 0.5BB/100 or something.
