crap, made some horrible plays, called a shove with AJ from someone who had been shoving like twice an orbit, hadn't shown any hands down. Flips over KK, I don't improve. I'm now shortstacked and I push with AJ again, run into AK. How to go from 350th and able to fold into the money to out in 977th.

Use the search feature in the main lobby. go to requests then Find a player.,.,type in zach's name and the tournament lobby will come up then you search for him on the right hand side.,.,.,alphabetical would be easier if you hit the word player above the names.,.,as Z would be at the bottom or top..

Or you can be at my table and hit View lobby and go thro the same proceedure!

I could really confuse you further and say if you look at the right in the tournament lobby Zach is at table 49 and you could find him faster that way lol

I personally hate stars these days and i play on full tilt. I like to do the 1$ and 2$ rebuy there, but since my br is pretty big now i might try the 3$ or 5$ one soon. I got my own stradegy. Which is i push with any hand like QK J10 any pp. or any A suited. Until i get about 15k then i play tight and by then they think im a crazy maniac and pay off my AK AQ with A rag. Then i add on and after break i wait for a double up. Then i make a lot of steals. At the end i sit pretty tight. At final table i just kind of sit around wait till its down to 6 and then i get aggresive, but it always depends on who is at my table and the chip stacks.

When i first started playing i started on stars which i hate right now. So me and my friend decided to do the 3$ rebuy. We talked about our stradegy and everything before we started. Well i ended up itm because i got sucked out on a coin flip. But my friend ended up taking 2nd place in it for 3k and gave me 100$ which i wasnt ery happy about since i did help him all the way but w/e. What he did in it was pretty simple, at the beginning buy in for 6 and then we pushed any pp once we got to 10k we waited for good hands and the ppl that were crazy and pushing with anything would pay us off. Then at break we added on. After break played tight to make everyone we were tight. When we were almost itm with a nice stack we started stealing and bluffing. At the final table there was this one guy that was basically on fire and took almost everyone out and then my friend ended up heads up with him. He ended up losing with 2 pair when the other guy caught a higher 2 pair on river.

I'll be there Zach I usually start with $6.30 and play pretty tight unless I get a nice hand in good position because the first hr in these are brutal!

If I lose my 3000 chips I will rebuy another 6$ worth and those will have to just do me till first break, then I add on.

I play tight again in the next two hrs only pllaying premium as well when you reach the 2nd break and 3hrs of playing it will be about time for ITM position, I will get a little more aggressive here and play a little more loose!

I usually dont' get too deep in these 67th is my best! But I usually cash I spent about 12$ today and out of 3900 runners made it to 294 for 33$

You'll find others will play differently!

Best of luck to you this evening!

I'd be interested to know the answer to this question

I work on the basis that I don't re-buy until the last few minutes before the re-buy period ends, then I re-buy (and also add-on, if it's available), so that going into the period where it's no longer possible to re-buy I have as many chips as possible. If I am taken out early in the tourney, I go out without re-buying

So I've decided I'll try the $3.30 re-buy on stars at 8pm. This is my first re-buy and although I understand the basic strategy (play slightly looser, but also let the donks who go in with ATC pay off my big hands), I don't really know much about it. Probably should have asked about this earlier or waited until tomorrow to play, but am I missing anything crucial about re-buys? Also I've limited myself to a $15 investment (so max of 4 re-buys after the initial $3. Also if I'm still in I'll buy the add-on so I guess that's really a limit of $18 total).
