You need to play Higher Limits
Freerolls and small stakes you will get called by people who have no clue....They think their good because they call with K,10 suited and out draw you. Reality is these people have to reload their accounts because they lose in the long run.

Yea a lot depends on how you play the hand. Given in limit especially low limit there is no way to protect your hand, you can't raise enough preflop to run anyone out. I have lost many times in limit games on the river with nice pockets, but in a NL game this shouldn't happen too often.

1.) Get off that site asap. Their RNG is obviously horribly flawed, OR...
2.) Get away from the computer. You're an internet poker zombie, OR...
3.) Get real. Nobody catches AA-KK 20 times in 3 days. (If so, see 1 & 2)

LMAO ummmwell im currently unemployed and have just a little bit more time on my hands than is probably healthy
And if it were just one site it would be a simple solution. These numbers are a combination of 3 sites : pokerchamps, Absolute poker, and Ultimate bet.

Feesh,
According to Mike Caro's poker percentage tables as found in Super System, the odds of being dealt AA before the flop is one in 220 hands. The odds of being dealt KK before the flop is one in 73 hands.
You saw AA twelve times in three days? And KK eight times? By the numbers, that would necessitate playing 3224 hands in 72 hours, or 44 hands per hour non-stop for three days. Which leads me to the following recommendations:
1.) Get off that site asap. Their RNG is obviously horribly flawed, OR...
2.) Get away from the computer. You're an internet poker zombie, OR...
3.) Get real. Nobody catches AA-KK 20 times in 3 days. (If so, see 1 & 2)

I agree with xdman, take a little time away from the site you are at. I ran into a time when it seemed like I couldn't win no matter what. I decided to open another account at the same site with a new name. You wouldn't believe the difference that has made. I now alternate the two depending on my mood. Of course I am not a big money person either so I could afford to do that. This however does lend to the theory that it is rigged, however, even if they decided what cards you get, it is up to you to play them or not.

Feesh,
That is one of the issues. Sadly enough AA is not the great a hand early on because you will get a lot of people calling. Especially if you raise half your stack. They see dollar signs.
Now granted your odds of losing against 2 other hands are better then when you get 6 people calling. But, you still lost.
Sometimes a lesser bet works to chase off these kind of people than a large one.
Odd but they think the opposite of other poker players. The bigger the pot the more they want to gamble on a hand. Even if it is junk.
Plus you seem to want to read these people as having good hands when they call that big a bet. Early on in the tourney you really can't do this. You have to assume they could have anything. Because they likely will.
Frankly a 2-4x pot bet is sufficient. If junk calls and flops a monster they will likely let you know. He would have likely gone all in wanting to get someone to double or triple him up. AAs can kill you i... | | Read Entire Entry |

Well feesh I advocate assasinating card room managers on such runs. I too have had difficulty dealing with bad streaks online. From experience take a couple days off to get your mind right and then try a different site for a little while. If you are confident you played the hands the best you could just take it for what it is ,a nasty part of poker. Good Luck and don't let a bad streak make you give up on a wonderful game.

Ouch Feesh!!! My only bad stories have been with KK. Had a run a few weeks back where I lost 8 of 10, EVERY TIME to a flopped A (to pair with someones pocket A).
Just tonight, first hand in a $10 SNG at Noble, I had KK, I raised pre-flop (to 200), guy raised back, I said NO WAY (he has AA) and went all in, he called with A8 OFF!!!! Flop was 245, turn was J, river was......3!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What in the H**L was this idiot doing calling my ALL-IN with A8 OFF???
Goes down as one of my worst beats (to an idiot). I've noted him as a buddy on Noble so I can hunt him down and ruin him sometime later on! LOL

ummmmm im not an idiot ......i do not slow play aces......each time I bet a minimum of half my stack and went all in on about half.
the problem is there are 3 kinds of people playing poker online: 1. normal peeps trying to play good poker like (most of) you and me. 2. idiots who dont have a clue. 3. rich assholes who dont care about the money.
you just plain cant get the 2s and 3s to fold. example i have AA in a tourney ery early on so most of the stacks are around start size. I bet half my stack. 2 callers......the first is our resident #3 he is playing J9 offsuit. the second is everybodys favorite #2 we'll get to his hand later.
flop comes 669.......mr J9 immediately goes al... | | Read Entire Entry |

I have lost more with pocket aces than i've won. I do decent in small money freerolls but higher money tourneys seem to never give me cards or when i get cards someone gets better. Seems like it's fixed.

Bad runs happen...you gotta keep a steady state of mind about it, because categorizing your misfortune is only gonna make you dwell on it more, and mess you up more.

I know how frustrating it can be to lose with good hands. What site was this on? Also if it's no limit did you bet enough preflop to make the chasers and low lifes pay to see the flop?
