With that said, my bankroll sites in an off-shore financial institution so I am not breaking any laws.

Casinos operate within a state and therefore under state laws, not federal laws. If a state wants to allow casinos, the federal government has no say in the matter at all.
The federal government does, however, have the power to regulate interstate commerce, which is any commerce that occurs across state lines, which internet gambling does. So they have the power to pass laws regarding internet gambling.
The two faced issue is making internet gambling for lotteries and horse racing legal, not them leaving casinos legal. | | Static Link |

These sort of dirty tricks are not particularly unusual when one party wants to force the other party to either vote against a bill damaging their reelection chances close to the election or accept a bill they don't like. The Democrats chose to be pussies about this bill and let it go probably meaning to take care of the issue later IF it ever helps them get reelected, otherwise they don't really give a shit.

or is it their way to break your will into submitting to a hefty 50% tax on all online gambling transactions whether you win or lose $ which they figure they can impose after a few months of it being illegal to gamble
also what up with having gambling legal at casino's and such but but online, if they are going to make it illegal why be 2 faced and not close all the casino's also
