Yeah, I don't think we can compete on the cheaper side of the market. For example, WalMart up here has a ten person oval table with cup holders on sale for $149 CDN! Now it's a piece of cr*p, but it's cheap. Hell, our wood for one table costs more than that.

We're also going to come out with an original octagonal table concept. I'll post to the website and this thread when we have it ready.

Thanks for all your feedback.

I have to say the price is too high for most. I know it is good quality and all but $499 is probably all that most will pay, I could be wrong?

Really awesome tables, I like the blue one that's a nice look. I don't want to sound like a broken record but yeah, apperance is everything for a company, having a flashy website will attract a lot more guests and buyers, and with more guests the word will spread out about your company, means more business for you.

Other than that the tables look great, I love how you didn't add those cheesy chip holders, they get annoying when they are spread all over the table we use the tables that fold out and lay ontop of another table, and they are real wobbly and wear thin easy. Yours looks like it gives players space between eachother so you're not too bunched up during a game that gets annoying, I like the padded arm rest, and I like how you let your buyers design all thier own tables.

And BIGJACE has a good idea, lol a private tourney would be nice for a chance at one of those sexy beasts!!

Other than that yeah you've scored yourself an awesome useful product that I think in ti...

i wish i could afford one, they are works of art boys.why not set up a private tourney to win one?most sites let you run your own tourneys and it would be great publicity.good luck whatever you do

We also think that our pricing is fair for this type of table.

I don't know how you can make this table for less than $300!

Remember, we use only quality materials and construction methods:
1. Our table is a full one and one quarter in thick - that's two sheets of wood sandwiched together not one like other manufacturers.

2. We use quality billiard felt on our playing surface that costs big $$$ not elveteen or microfiber that is much cheaper - when's the last time you went to a Casino and played on elveteen!

3. Our tables are cut on a computerized CNC machine one by one that ensures precise cuts and quality control - we don't use a jigsaw and do it by hand.

4. Our padded rail uses both high density and medium density upholstery foam for both a good feel and durability. Our foam is expensive because it won't break down over time - other foams become brittle and loose their 'rebound'.

5. We only use 'closed cell' foam under our playing surface....

Itd be hard for me to pay 900$ for a table that can be built for under 300$. But I guess that is the going rate. I would rather just go get instructions off the internet and build one myself. But your tables do look beautiful. I wish I had one.

That is some great feedback. We'll take that all into account.

We sell mostly locally and our internet site was part of our expansion plan. It is hard to convey the look and feel of our tables ia our website. But we'll keep on trying.

Regarding the fold up size....there is a picture on the FEATURES page that shows you the table hanging (actually in my storage room) and that it only takes up about 7 inches of space.

By the way, cool shirts and isors. www.pokershirts.com

All of you have been great in providing some ery constructive feedback.

Thanks.

The tables look really nice.

I have to agree with the idea of improving the website design. I'm all for a simple, effective site, but your tables seem top quality, and the website would hold me back from buying.

At the ery minimum, you should "optimize" the file size on the images you have posted on the site. I noticed one photo (on the feedback page) that was 1947.34 KB (1994073 bytes)! That's huge for a image posted to a website.

It would be cool if the tables had chipholders off to the side, or had that as an option.

One thing I thought was cool was the printed felt on the "Features" page. If you guys can do that, you should put some information on that (pricing, requirements, etc) on your site.

I love the fact that the tables are foldup. I would have liked to see a picture of one of the tables folded up, so I could compare the amount of space it took with the amount of space I have in my gameroom.

I'm really consid...

Thanks for the feedback.

1. I agree that our website needs some work.

2. As far as shipping goes - a large, heavy table of this kind cannot be shipped ia FEDEX, UPS or other normal couriers. This table is sent ia ground freight and unfortunately, being from the 'Great White North', there is usually a long way to travel for these tables. We make no money on shipping or brokerage costs and in some cases the cost is less than $125.

3. Positioning of drink holders - one of my favorite topics.......my partner and I struggled for weeks on the design. What better way to decide than have the boys over for a game and have them help us. It was overwhelming, other than for the left handed players, to put the holders on the right hand side of the spot you are playing. Our architect equally spaced out all holders around the table. Other tables do not offset the cup holder especially on the curves - ours does so that you fit two guys on the ends and each player, regardless of where yo...

Wow, that is a really nice looking table. I'll tell my friend Doug about it. All of us in our poker group have a semi nice table or something that 8-10 people can fit around. Except for Doug, we play on his coffee table and its starting to suck. His dog can get to everything, but anyway. That does have the look of a casino table. Really nice quality. One concern though, I don't know about $125 for shipping, but then again it is a rather large item.

Those are really nice looking tables, but I agree, if you make the interface of your site better I bet your sales will go up because people will trust you better. I don't know if you already do this but selling them in a real nice setup on Ebay may work out really well for you.

Thanks for the feedback Nick.

I know that we need to spruce up the site a bit to create an image that's 'in line' with our table quality. Nevertheless, it does the trick for now. We'll work on it.

Hi theboyspokertables and welcome to cardschat.

I think your tables look really nice. They are big, well designed and also fold away (which is a major plus for most people).

I also think the ability to customise the colour of the felt and other aspects of the table is a great idea.

One thing that lets you down really is your site. If that is your main selling point, then I'd suggest working on the design a bit. It's not terrible, but it's not the type of site that is expected of a reputable seller on the internet. I suggest getting a logo done instead of just having text in the top left.
