I have been card dead for about two weeks. Was in a tourney the other day - short stacked near the end - and a big stack went all in preflop. I had K-Qs, so what the heck - I went all in. He was trying to buy the pot with 10-2s. The flop and turn come, and I match both my K and Q. He catches two deuces on the flop and turn to beat me. River was no help.

3 times in the last 3 hours I have been rivered out of the 3 tourney's. I had top pair in 2, my kicker would have been better and wham he get's his 2cnd pair on river. the 3rd one I had flopped a full house. I had pocket 5's the flop comes QQ5, the guy beside me on the right bets I just call, the next card a 9 (by this time there is 3 spades on the table) the guy beside me goes all in. I quickly call, the river falls, It's a 9. The guy caught a boat on the river. All I can ever do and all I did was go out saying or rather writting on the chat "LOL".
One or two more freerolls before I go to bed. It would be amazing if it were to happen on the next 2 lol.
have a good night or day and good luck at the tables everyone

I had one like that, not quite as bad. Pocket AA the flop comes AKK. Feeling confident I check and then call a bet by the only ther player. A 2 comes on the turn and the other guy goes all in.. I call of course. He turns up pocket 22. I still feel good til a 2 comes on the river.

Oh my God, Mandy. Are you sure you are not my alter ego? When I go card dead, I go card dead ALL the way, and see hands like this one where you can actually hear the Poker Gods laughing their asses off at you and snickering and pointing....I..I...I...think I...need to go sit in my corner and cover my ears and scream! LOL

Twizzy's right. That will happen, but not that often. When you play the cheap games the idiots come out. "Oh I've got a horrible hand let's go all in and hope the cards either come or everyone folds." You handled it right. Laugh way out loud and tell the computer "You Suck" then go on as if nothing had happened.

You went in with the best starting pre flop hand. Be proud that you did.. nothing more you can do when you are the favorite to win. Luck does happen but if you do that scenario a bunch of times.. his 3,9 will lose lots more to your aa's
