another interesting article on the site.

Party to buy bwin??? I dont see how one cash poor site can buy another cash poor site. But maybe bwin is that fucked. I dont relish i tthough, as Im liking the action(albeit rigged) at ongame without most of the americans. Maybe if Party let some sites fudge things like ongame is, would be ok.

Doyles Room is one of Tribeca's largest poker room clients. Other rooms served by Tribeca with a large US presence include Golden Palace Poker and BetUS Poker, both of which are expected to continue taking on customers from the States.

"Tribeca is giving its US facing clients 6 months to find another poker network," a s...

I agree. They decided now to pull out of the market?

I havent ever played on the network but was keeping tabs on it since many felt FCP would end up there.

ok. first, tribeca is out of the u.s.

http://www.professional-poker.com/news/2006/nov/758-tribeca-tables-us.htm

"Following a long period of consultation with it’s gaming attorneys, Tribeca Tables Europe, Limited, the online poker solutions company, has announced that the company has decided to withdraw it’s poker room from certain territories; specifically the US, Israel, and Hong Kong markets."

golden palace transfers its players to separate u.s. entity:
http://www.professional-poker.com/news/2006/nov/757-golden-palace-us.htm

"All USA player accounts from the CasinoBlasters.com family of sites have been transferred to GoldenCasino.com,"

it seems confusing. i was going to look for other tribeca networks which allowed u.s. players; now i'll wait.

at least a couple of the major "poker is terrible!" congresscritters are gone in january. too bad jon kyl wasn't among them.
