The one problem with short seated games is that if a couple of guys get knocked out early on to the one player then the chip advantage will normally get that player through.but all in all i prefer them because they don,t take too long and can boost your bank roll.

I like six max tables because they attract the maniacs. Every now and then one will try and bluff you all -in when you are holding the stone cold nuts - even after you have bet every street!

Well Tiriel it appears that Hooba has a sense of humor & that is always welcome. I am fond of the 5 & 6 seat SNG's for the same reason as JuiceeQ.
Kronic, how do you know you are not playing someone with multiple personality disorder[s]?

I prefer 6 person tables way more for SNGs. There're fewer people getting up and leaving so it gives me longer to analyse my opponents. I also get a bit impatient sometimes after I've folded my pocket cards at a 10 person table.

i like the six man table also good because lesser amount of people means for more serious hands

I made good money on these tables once and plan on playing these tables again. The wait and the hands played make it more fun. Mind you I was only playing limit $0.50/$1 but in the end I made out pretty good until I hit the No Limit and tripled my stack but then lost it all at the same table.

I think you need at LEAST one more "!" and consider throwing in another 2-3 "?" if you really want to put emphasis on your amazement.

I play 5 person sngs @ supremepoker

i deposited at poker.com to play our midweek games just before they went belly up

so thought 'might as well have some games there' with the $25 i had deposited

have been playing the $5 and $10 6 seat SnG's

i really enjoy them, 10 mins of low alue blinds then 'cut to the chase' as they say

have played short handed on paradise before, but the games there were loose and really aggresive, but at poker.com they seem quite sane

i like them, havn't made any money, win one, lose one, but good fun

it's 30 or 35..lol I never clarified w/ them. It just adds up so damn fast when playing 2 5 seater 1-2 NL games.

I am not capable of limit poker, but my buddy plays 2 of the 5-10 limit games and he makes a ton more than I do every week. He usually gets well over $300-350 rakeback/week...mind you, he's insane...he plays for a living on a 22' widescreen monitor.

Cutting out that 1 xtra person at a table makes a massive difference.

I LOVE short handed tables. I've been doing a rakeback program on supremepoker.com and the best thing about this is that their short handed tables only seat 5. I will typically play 2-3 tables at once (mostly 2) which short handed works out to sometimes 200 hands per hour...been averaging $80-$160/week in rakeback ontop of winnings and that's just playing 4-5 hours week. I've calculated it to be in the range of $22-30 an hour for me in rakeback.

It really has a lot to do with your playing style, the six seater's are set up for those of us that tend to play a little looser, i enjoy these small SnG's, but what i really love is the heads up SnG's, the reason i favor these tourneys is cuz you know you don't have to worry about any collusion

I enjoy the short-handed tables because it allows me to play more starting hands, plus I can get a game in more quickly than a 10-player. A 10-player requires at least an hour to sit and play (usually) and I just don't have that kind of time to sit in front of the computer at that long of a stretch (unless the kiddies are in bed).

6 person tables are more exciting. You wait shorter on hands you are not in and the game flows better than 10 player tables. I perfer 6 player tables myself.

I had pretty good results playing a 6-seater MTT at pokerstars last night, and now i feel kind of hooked on the expirence of playing at these smaller table. I just liked the action there better. it seemed more like what poker is supposed to be

so i was just looking for other opinions on the subject, ring or tournament, love or hate, just curious.
