Cloutier and McEvoy's book on Omaha covers limit, pot limit and High/Low.

The only fault is that they assume high/low is played limit but it quite often is played pot limit online and even in some brick and mortar casinos. However I've never seen a pot limit Omaha high/low tournament

I don't own both, but I've read both, and I'd say that number 2 will probably serve you better. I think the limit hold'em section by Jennifer Harman is great, and it includes an Omaha section (whereas the first book had draw, I believe). Although the publisher recommends you get both (of course they do), I think the first one is pretty marginal in the extra material you get. SS2 is not an addition; it's a rework, imho.

As for the Omaha contents, there's one for Omaha 8/b of about 70 pages, and one on PLO high, for about 45 pages. What level of complexity they go into feels like a pretty subjective question, and I don't have a scale to answer that with.

Speaking of Super System, which one is the more useful to get? 1 or 2?

SS2 is fairly extensive. There's a chapter for Omaha8 as well as a chapter for PLO8. I can't give you a rundown of what the chapters cover as I'm at work right now, but I can try to remember to look it up when I get home.

How much is there in Super System 2? ie, how many pages about it, and how much depth does it go into? I'm not terribly keen on shelling out for Super System 2 as I have the first super system, and I understand that the Hold 'em sections are basically the same in 2 as in 1.

There's plenty of articles on the web that go through the basics, but I'm looking for something a little more advanced. Any ideas?

I'm a real newbie when it comes to PLO8, but Super/System2 had a (two, really) sections that I found informative and easy to follow.

Dorkus might have some other suggestion. Have you read his 3-part article series?
