if your in Edinburgh m8 then the buyin at the European poker tour events in Dublin are about 2500 euros, but they increase for events in Paris and Copenhagen although not by that much.the ept has a website but i have no addy at the moment.Plus something I'm trying to do is get into the Edinburgh university poker society weekly events which only have a £15 buyin but they also have a good number of players and they hold other events with other universities around the country.the criteria for entry to them is either being a former or present student or being signed in to by such.

Depends on what sort of competition you are looking for, number of entrants, what sites you play at etc etc
A bit more information would be helpful but nearly every site will have a premium tourney of around $1000 entry.
I play at Ladbrokes and they have the Big Money Monthly which is $1000 buy in, 100k guaranteed and normally gets around 150 players, but the competition would be ery high (atleast 15-20 pro's in the field)

Long story short, I've been playing for a couple of years now and really want to enter a "Decent" live tourney. Played in the £250 game in my local casino and each month play the £100 re-buy there too. I'm talking more about the WSOP, WPT or EPT events that go on, anyone entered any?
I'm considering a tournament around the £1000 mark (Maybe £1500 - $1800 to $2700 range).
Any insites or experiances would be great foks.
Cheers.
