That sounds a lot like razz deuce to seven. But its just played in draw style. So its played like draw lowball only you get three chances to draw instead of one

Triple draw there is A-5, 2-7. It's 5 cards and you want to make the lowest hand possible. Straights and flushes count against you, 23457 would be the best hand. The table goes around once and bets, then discards, so if you had 23456, you'd want to get rid of the 6 because that would count against you. You get 3 chances to draw a card to make the best lowest hand. 2-7 ace's count as a high card but in a-5 aces count as a low card.
http://www.pokernews.info/poker-rule...riple-draw.htm good site I read at, can better describe the game. It's fun tho! I watch Phil H. Play it a lot on Ultimatebet, pretty neat.

I'm a omaha junkie, can't get enough, which sucks because a lot of the games I play around here with friends they only like Hold'em which is fun too. I don't know something about omaha,
Tripple draw would have to be my 2nd fav. Anyone else like that one??

Recently I've been playing a lot of hold'em (offline and online), however, I'm always up for any kind of poker.
I even like the games that can only loosely be called poker. Nothing gets a home game fired up like a nice game of "In Between".

at the local poker rooms in edmonton they have half and half game
half hour of holdem, half hour omaha (bingo)
its a change of pace if you lose $ in holdem you can make it back in
omaha in 1 pot ppl usually stay in till the river
the only thing bad about when flop the nuts you have to pray
that your hand holds up the river lol

I like Hold 'em, but I really think 7-stud and Omaha are better, at least for the math geek.
NL Hold 'em is incredibly dramatic, and the psychological element is unignorable, but this also means it depends a lot on the players. I've been in NL Hold 'em games that weren't much fun, because NLTHe relies on emergent behavior to make the game fun.
7-card stud is more my cup of tea. Hold 'em only throws 169 nonequivalent possible starting hands at you, and the correct strategy with 80+% of them is, simply, Fold. I find Hold 'em to be a bit simple in this regard. Also, I find the "crackings" really unpleasant-- it happens in any poker game that sometimes your great hand is whacked by someone's better hand, but Texas is conducive to that. You might have two mediocre spades, plus three on the board, and be rooting against a river spade (which may make a higher flush somewhere, and you've already got yours)-- but the idea of poker is that your hand improves, not declines, with each r... | | Read Entire Entry |

And if your sad, and play on your own , there is "Deuces," "Jacks or Better" and "Draw," the latter being the best. imo

In Texas Hold'em you have two in your hand, in Omaha you have four in your hand but you have to use two.
