Certainly this seems to be the case when playing also.

Thank god for this news! The OnGame network is a major source of good bonus for non-us players, to see their flagship room meddling with their bonus structure gave me quite a bit of concern.

I still think the old player points (i.e. the ones before the website update) and still in force. I'm earning partial points, which should be impossible under teh new system.

I play 25NL and last night I actually accumulated points quicker I thought (this could just have been the loose play last night).

Although, the PokerRoom player points don't update in real-time anymore, so its hard to tell if the new structure is actually in place.

On the NL side it doesn't seem too bad a change, maybe even better for 50NL and 100NL, worse for 25NL/PL and 200NL+. It'll be interesting to see how the hourly rate chart changes.

Has the new points system been implemented across the whole network, only found Europoker with it, the rest still have the old system in thier faqs?

Thanks Alan,

Did you manage to contact PokerRoom support to confirm the changes? I had no luck.

I'm annoyed that they changed this when I'm 50% through clearing the 5x bonus. Do you know if the changes effect existing bonuses?

Paul

I was concerned because the "new" web site says that the rake structure is now %5 upto $3 max.

But they are having huge website problems, so who knows.

I also noticed that the links on the bonus whore page do not link to the pages they used to on the PokerRoom website. It used to bring up a special bonuswhore page that had the bonus details and the time to clear, etc on the pokerroom site. Now it just comes up with the main pokerroom page.

There was a website upgrade last night.

Anyone notice that with the new PokerRoom website update, the rake has changed and the player points has changed?

I'm at $0.10/$0.25, but I noticed that it takes at least $0.05 out of every pot once the flop is seen, regardless of the amount in the pot. I saw a 50c pot with 5c rake taken out of it. 10c still comes out of a $1 pot also.

Also, the player points now have the following rules for holdem http://www.pokerroom.com/help/faq/index.php?action=viewSubCategory&categoryId=3
1 point for every raked real money hand where the rake was $1.00 or more. You get 0.5 points for every raked real money hand where the rake was less than $1.00 (but more than $0.50). You do not have to pay rake to earn points, you just need to be dealt cards. If you are sitting out you will not earn any points.
NOTE: This schedule has been (and may again be) reworked to even out the possibilities to earn points in the different games.

Anyone else notice? This could make earning the 5x BW b...
