Hi Gonzo,
Which bonuses clear concurrently? You lost me a bit there.

BW doesn't allow us to talk about other affiliates I believe, so just go to Google and search for "rakeback" then click the first result. That should clear up the process for you. | | Static Link |

I know. I keep checking here for the "Insert site here" allows Americans back thread. Then I wake up. Unfortunately, if the sites did allow people back, I think the damage is done for the casual player who feeds me money.

When is this merger between Absolute and UB happening? I last heard rumor of it in November. Since then I haven't heard anything in the news or from either company. Can anyone substantiate this claim?

Thanks for the input. This was what I was afraid of. I was hoping there were goood bonuses I was missing, but deep down probably realize that it won't be long before I've exhausted them and basically at UB or Bodog full time.

Does UB deduct rakeback from bonuses like Full Tilt? Or is it like Absolute where you get both???
UB only deducts 25% of your bonuses from MGR.
And Absolute has decimated both the bonus and the rakeback that they once offered.

Is it enough to just download via the BW link?

$500 bonus and rakeback via BW (bonus deducted from rakeback)
Bonus expires after 90 days, unless you take them up on their monthly reload, which resets the 90 days for all bonuses.

| Posted by: JALaw at January 10, 2007, 4:26 pm | | Topic: Any US players running low on bonuses!?!? Forum: Bonus Whores | I'd heard somewhere that it was not possible. At least not without losing your stacked bonus. I'd heard it was possible if you don't mind losing your stacked bonus (sorry, no details).
Too bad -- I've got >$2500 stacked at UB. I just started dumping money (and cleared about $1k in bonuses) at UB when I first start whoring, before I knew about rakeback.
My plan is to continue to prioritize those bonuses which are "at risk" -- ie, bonuses at sites which are or probably will zap US players. Once things settle down (I'm guessing another 3 months or so) I'll be going back and clearing stacked bonuses at Stars, UB, FCP, Bodog, etc based on win/clearance rates. If I ever clear out my stacked UB bonus, then I'll look further into switching the account to rakeback.

| Posted by: JoobJoobAchoo at January 10, 2007, 3:35 pm | | Topic: Any US players running low on bonuses!?!? Forum: Bonus Whores | I'd like to second that UB is great. The games are much better than Full-Tilt or PokerStars and the bonus is really good with RB and points-to-cash. At 1/2 SH limit I'm running about $6.26/table/hour. Plus I've been making a steady 3 BB/hr/table off of the games over 40,000 hands, so I think that speaks to the quality of the games.
Doyle's Room is also a great place to play. The bonus ended up being around $4/hr/table for me at 1/2 SH limit (since it's contributed), but the games were soooooooo aggro and loose that you more than make up for it if you play well.
I've never heard about anyone getting their account switched to rakeback at UB, but it's worth e-mailing support and letting them know how much more you'll play if you're allowed to add rakeback to your account. | | Static Link |

There are a good number that are not allowing US signups now, but you can likely find a couple that are not on your lists.
From what I understand, you cannot have accounts at Doyle's Room and Golden Palace. Keep in mind that Doyle's will be moving to a new network in the near future.
Not sure how well RAF is working at Grand Bay, seems like many people had issues getting that bonus when BW was hitting it hard a few months back.
Mansion is one of the main places I have been playing lately, 100% up to $1000 for a first deposit bonus and follows up with two separate 50% up to $500 I believe. Bonus is released in $10 chunks, but you have to email CS as their bonus release system is busted. With the new law preventing US players on many poker networks finding a good bonus is becoming difficult. In my mind that's anything netting me $18-20/hr ($5/table/hr at .50/1 NL, basically a 10x prima).
I know I must be missing a ton of good bonuses out there. So where are they? Here is my target list of bonuses in the next month or so (Note: Some of these don't meet the above criteria):
Grand Bay Poker (using RAF, $60 for 100 raked)
Doyles Room
Poker4Ever
Tiger Gaming (big bonus, but does it really clear at $5.90/tbl/hr at .50/1 NL as the site review says?)
Golden Palace
PokerRewards
Royal Vegas Poker (is this 10x or 25x...hard to know)
PokerArena
Nordic Bet
Colosseum poker
What am I missing? Where are all the other US players satisfying their bonus cravings? Are there other threads addressing these problems? I've done some searching and digging within this site, but haven't uncovered very many... | | Read Entire Entry |
