Good looking cardschatter(s), I had been seeing that disclaimer on alot of poker site commercials, and was wondering why they would even advertise that is wasn't a gambling site. Stay Cool!!

Has anyone else noticed on TV that some sites in their commercials state that they are not a gambling site. 1st why do they do that? Is it to appear that they comply with some government law about gambling. And 2nd how do they get away with saying that, when all u have to do to check it is go onto the site in question and place a bet for yourself, and actually see it is a gambling site. I my self like the fact you can sit in your own home and wager your money and have some fun at home. I know Poker Stars and Party Poker's commercials state this everytime.
Can they do this because they offer free tables and tourneys!?? If anyone has the answer to these questions I'd be ery interested to hear about them. It would seem that they should have left those disclaimers off the commercials to protect themselves from later liabilities.Thanx!!
