wow, 2 of my players have over 80k. Negreanu is dangerous with a stack, perhaps it will be 2 wins out of 2 for me
PS, nice choices bolc, although Varkonyi surely is the previous winner who looks least like a poker god (not a great looker!)

LOL thanks for the update Welly. I'm trying not to look at any results for the WSOP main event but it's funny that the guy I know is still alive. I guess another friend of mine finished 244 out of 1300 in a circuit event. (got emailed from a buddy who went to watch)

1st :- PreciousLor - 10713pts (thanks to good performances by Wezzee 92nd, and WiredOnly 450th)
2nd :- GreatDane - 12549
3rd :- Welly - 14513 (I blame it on tacoroy, undoubtedly the tightest of the previous winners, and he bombs out in 5482 )
Right, onto the WSOP....so far we've got 5 or 6 people entering. Just list 5 players you think will do well. Good Luck.

Yeh, I thought about Raymer for my 5. But thought it unlikely he will emerge through the field again.
I also read a biog of his last two WSOPs and it seems that quite a few people think he is a little heavy pre-flop. Anyway, now i've said this, go watch him win again!
Any more lists of 5 for the Party Poker one (which takes place today) or for the WSOP Main Event (starts 28th July) then stick them on here.
Good Luck

That's horrific, but it's not the worst odds i've ever seen. Victor Chandler quoted Johnny Moss at 100/1 for last years WSOP - he's been dead for about 10 years!
Have you got details of the site (or a link) - i'll email that to a gambling magazine i subscribe too - I wonder if they'll offer odds on the flipside of that bet? (i.e 1/300 that the winning hand ISN'T a Royal Flush).

Right, I'll do the WSOP one as well.
Same rules, but the points score for no-shows is 5000pts
NB If more than one person gets the winner in their list of 5 then the tie-breaker is whoever has the lowest total points

I dont think anyone else has any idea who plays at Party Poker, but it would be a great idea if used for the WSOP final. Each person picks 5 pro's.

Select five players who you think will do well in the next Million Dollar tourney on Party Poker (takes place on Sunday).
You will get points matching their position. The lowest combined total points wins.
For Example:-
PokerAAA finishes 1000th
PokerBBB finishes 1st
PokerCCC finishes 1500th
PokerDDD finishes 50th
Poker EEE finishes 400th
You score :- 1000+1+1500+50+400 = 2951
If 2951 is the lowest you win!
If your named player does not enter he will be awarded 3000pts. NB There is normally 4000 or so entries.
To add a little bit more to the interest, if anyone selects the winner in their list of 5, I will give them a small prize ($50).
As a little side-bet type prediction, I dont think anyone will score a combined points of less 6000. Anyone got another prediction?
Anyway to start the thing rolling I'll submit my list of 5 :-
tacoroy
Kvelerslange
BigRiskkyy
pastika
VeniceBeachy
