Of course, it also depends on the reason behind the original question, too. Most poker rooms let you play in freerolls without making a deposit of any kind, although a lot of them have withdrawl policies requiring deposits/hands played etc. BUT, there are some poker rooms out there with no withdrawl restrictions (Like JunglePoker.com). They believe in giving you what you've won.

Bodog lets you deposit $20. Piraya Poker and i4poker.com (B2B network sites) give a free $5 to signup - although U.S. players will not be allowed on their network starting September 1.

OK. I knew there were a couple out there that offered a minimum deposit of $10. I found Poker.com and PokerRoom.com both offer minimums of $10 depending on the method of deposit you choose (minimum is higher for other methods). They are as follows:
Poker.com--minimum $10 deposit if you use Click2Pay or My Citadel Wallet
PokerRoom.com--minimum $10 deposit if you use Neteller, InstaCASH by Neteller, Click2Pay, Firepay, epassporte, or Moneybookers.
The only method I'm familiar with is Neteller and InstaCASH. The others I couldn't tell you anything about. I doubt there are any out there with a minimum as low as $5.
