They have both taken Paypal for gambling for a long time. I deposited with them both ia Paypal ages ago.
I dont play poker on either, but when I emailed betfair support to ask them whether it was possible to use paypal for poker also they said :-
"You can register your paypal account on your poker account."

Betfair Poker and Ladbrokes
with Ladbrokes you need to open an account, then activate poker from the account screen, and then transfer money from the account screen

Paypal ripped me off $240
Sold an old Notre Dame Playbook....Buyer claimed he did not get it.
I gave the tracking number and a copy of the signed receipt showing he recieved it to paypal. They took the money out of my account.

Oh don't get me wrong Paypal has its con's as well just like the chargeback.. what both sites don't mention about those chargebacks is that you can do it directly through your credit card and not the site itself. I don't know how Netteller does its chargebacks but you can do a chargeback directly through paypal instead of your credit card. I am going to interpret that is what Netteller means when you'll never recieve a chargeback from Netteller. Oh by the way being a 3 year seasoned eteran on Ebay and learning alot from thier discussion boards. I do accept Paypal from my buyers. I trust more about Paypal then I do about Netteller. Probably why I sway more towards Paypal cause I have never had a problem doing business with them.

Most sites pay Neteller's tranfer fees. Very hard to argue that it would be nice for PayPal to get back on the online gaming wagon. Ebay owns PayPal now and they don't want to piss off the american government. You make all alid points but don't expect PayPal to deal with poker sites anytime soon. Now if you take advantage of some of the features of Neteller you won't be paying any service fees. Neteller is licensed bank in the UK so feel secure in using them.

Yes but Paypal is the Global Leader in Online Payments. Also Owned by the #1 Auction Internet Site, Ebay. I would personally go with the site that is much more trusted and #1 then netteller. Paypal processes within 2-3 days compared to a week as well. Even charges less per transaction then Netteller. Paypal also lets them recieve payments in 6 currencies.
PayPal account holders transact an average of over $5.6 billion USD through PayPal every quarter. That's $2 million USD per hour, and $48 million USD a day. Plus, over $750 million USD is stored in PayPal accounts, which is turned over every two weeks. Stored balances encourage impulse purchases and increased buying.
Since PayPal is an easy and secure way to pay, seeing the PayPal payment option during checkout increases buyer confidence and improves sales conversion.
In fact, over 80% of Paypal users say they're more likely to buy from an online business a second time if that business accepts PayPal.*

Yep, go with neteller, they process deposits and withdrawals within a week for the most part.

xdmanx007 is right. Paypal stopped taking the transactions because nearly all U.S. based bank credit cards will not accept charges from online gaming. If the credit card won't take the charge, Paypal won't.
Yes, they could have just held out because Paypal allows use of your checking account for payments, but I think they just wanted the easiest way to deal with things and treat all of their customers the same.
As far as I'm concerned, NetTeller is definitely the way to go.

The problem isn't the site's willing to accept paypal it is PayPal that no longer accepts transactions from internet gaming sites. I am sure the sites would love it if PayPal came back around to their senses but that doesn't appear likely till the US embraces online gaming. So the answer is NO there are no online gaming sites that you can use PayPal on

I would suggest Neteller to all that want to play at online casinos. I have found them to be the quickest to get my winnings to me.

I wish they did cause of all the Ebaying I have done. I personally have had no problems what so ever using Paypal.
Then again I am sure that those poker sites wouldn't appreciate the idea of say a customer doing a chargeback per say they lost to a bad beat. Cause when there is no proof of delivering a product and the customer complains. He/she can attempt to do a chargeback.

I've been to plenty of sites and I've never seen pay pal at any. I don't think they're into it. Check out their site and ask support.
