Thats the Pits, when your getting GOOD hands and Getting Beat by Better hands, really sucks, That tells you that Luck is Not on your side, It dont matter who you are, if you dont get some Luck, your done,, i know,, its Not All skill, you DO need the Luck too, I`ve had them days lots of times,, hope you do better next time.

Finished 189th. good hands kept on being broke. KK s AQ, got set on flop. guy got straight. 99 s A6 A on river. stuff like that. rebought twice and just couldn't catch a break. after 3rd time of being broke I quit.

All set to go here. Made dinner for all with crockpot so i won't be bothered there. Have my licorice laces beside me and my diet coke all ready to go. Deposited $60 to take care of one bad beat and rebuy. And i've changed into some comfy clothes. Thanks for the wishes and i'll keep you all advised.

What juicy said is true about re-buys at the higher level, most save their re-buy option for bad beats that they recieve during that period and at 30 a pop for re-buys I'm sure you'll do well, but as the others said, play tight until re-buy period is over and good luck.

I played in a $15 re-buy the other night at Titan, and I noticed that the usual re-guy frenzy you normally see in say, a $3 or $5 re-buy tourney wasn't present. Lots of people not re-buying at all (btw I bubbled --didn't need to rebuy, but did add-on). So, you may be right in that aspect, BBB. Good luck!

Well to go against what everyone else has said, I say play your usual agressive game.
IMO you have to be a little loose to build a good stack before the rebuy period ends. Of course that means you are more likely to have to rebuy but thats the nature of the beast.
If you don't have the bucks for rebuys can you exchange for a different tourney?

Hey BBB, congrats on winning the Satellite and good luck in it!
My Strategy is to play a little "tighter" in the rebuy stage and try to double up in the early stages with a monster! (sometimes easier said than done) I personally only rebuy 1 time and always purchase the add on "ALWAYS".
Whatever you do decide to do, decide it before the tournament starts and stick to your plan. Don't rebuy over and over and over cause you are getting "sucked in"!
You will be surprised at the Donkey play in this! There will still be many all ins and rebuys in the first hour!

Great BBB, just play your normal game, at first though tighten up to see how they are playing, when its multi re-buys the first hour some players go nuts,, my recomendation is,, be ery cautious the first half hour, gl in the game..>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> buck

if it's unlimited, i think you have to set a limit to what you are willing to invest into the tourney for your rebuys and play accordingly... I tend to take more risks when I haven't reached my rebuy limit to build my stack but others may play the tighter b/c everyone else is so aggressive in trying to build their stack too...

I believe it's unlimited rebuys.
Yeah JD my game is super aggressive. I think, like you say, if there is alot of rebuying, to slow it down a bit.

Just play your game BBB. Remember too that if there is a lot of rebuying that you should stay tight and try and accumulate some chips to survive until after the break when the tournament really starts.

Ok i just won a satellite to todays $15000 tourney on titan today. Has anyone played these and do you have some tips for it? Its also a rebuy and add on. I don't think I'll have many donks for the rebuys here. It's $30 a pop but you never know.
