in short, thats not what my professor thought about the issue. I also plan to discuss the ethics of collusion and bots, but I think that is more strieghtforward. I also need to discuss the implications of online poker in general since my software is designed specifically for this appication.

So I'd like to hear everyone's opinions on, why you think poker is ethical/ unethical? why do you play poker? What if any skills do you aquire from playing poker (particularly online poker). Do these skill help you outside of poker? should online poker be legal and regulated? What impact do you think poker has on society, the economy, etc.?

Please respond with your thoughts, it will help me alot. Also would be helpful if you could direct me to links pertaining to the the ethics of poker, and the debate over the legal regulation of online poker.

Also if you have any experience with collusion detection algorithms and are willing to help, let me know...

thanks!

Hello ra64, my iews are straight forward, I am of the opinion that governments worldwide should make it a legal requirement to at least download a poker site if you own a computer.
Imprisonment for none conformers after a certain period of time should follow.
The above comments should enable you to tick the relevant boxes for your other remaining questions.
Good luck.
