Me and my friends have been using this ariant for a few games now.
We played with 8 people and it was some really exciting poker. It adds a completely new element to play with and is ery strategical.
This is how it goes:
Texas Hold’em Variant
8 person table, to dealers left small and big blind.
3 cards dealt to each person
First to call also drops any card out of his 3 card hand and must match big blind to see the flop. Continues in order this way.
The card that a person drops is now a community card and any person except for the person who dropped the card can play on it. If a person folds out of the hand he also takes his community card with him.
The rest of the rules are standard Texas Hold Em with 1 flop of 3 cards, 1 card on turn, and one card on the river.
