I saw Sam Farha asking the other players if they wanted to split a big pot on High Stakes Poker. They declined, but Sam lost it anyway because he was playing rags as usual.

Hmm - are we suggesting that I was unethical with Mischman and Dueces last night?

(We split the money evenly 3 ways because we were just tossing chips back and forth and wanted it over)

So, I'm curious. Where does this come from? If I'm reading this right, why is splitting the pot unethical? What about chopping the blinds? Why wouldn't that be unethical then? But it's allowed in many cardrooms/casinos. Just curious, is all? Since you're done with the thread and have posted the answers, maybe I can hijack it and we can get discussion going on this. Could be interesting.

Anyone else have thoughts on this being ethical or not? Why? All the time? When? I curious to hear...
