Thanks for the tips on the look and design of it.
I spent some time redoing the navigation bar...still learning how to organize stuff. Hope it is easier on the eyes.
I'm not sure what you mean about the jaggedness of the Poker Reviews Vegas word.
I changed that too and took the embossing look off to just make it simple black.
Hope this helps the website look clean.
Thanks so much for your comments.
Also, to add to someone's comments here, I didn't like the way the Paris Poker Room was smack in the middle of the casino. It was loud and echoey and hard to hear the dealer.

The layout looks great...but...
The edges of on the main "Poker Reviews Vegas" are jaggedy looking, and the black and the background of dark red are too similar, making it hard to see. As for the navigation bar, the font seems to be too thin and not too good for the eyes.
Did you have anti-alaising turned on when you created the font/logo in Photoshop?
...if so...you should be using a monitor which shows about/more than 16 million colors. Without a good quality monitor & graphics card there is a possiblity you're just not seeing the jaggedness others are likely to iew...just a guess.

I am just running from memory but I think Stratosphere & Mandalay Bay were adjacent to them.
I actually like the seperate rooms the best like Wynn, Ceasar's, Ballagio, Harrah's and TI (treasure island).
I did not mind so much if they were on the side alittle or against a wall like at Mirage, Luxor, Stratosphere, or Mandalay Bay.
I did not like places like MGM or Excalibur where you were right in the middle of the floor.
This all becuase of background noise while playing. I hated hearing slots, a loud game of roulette or craps around when I am trying to play poker. The seperate room places where nice and quite so I could focus more and not get distracted by side stuff.

Thanks for the tips for my website.
My room condition rating focuses on the room itself but maybe I can revise my player's review form to also reflect what a player feels about the room relative to its location in the casino, noise, etc...
I do notice that some players like to do sportsbook while sitting at the table, so if it is near the sportsbook area, that probably would be a bonus for a particular poker room.
Do you know specifically, off hand, which casino's have their poker rooms close to their sportsbook?
Cheers,

I played in 18 rooms while I was there in October. I would say that all of your reviews would be dead on with my ideas of what they were like. I liked how you could individually see a long description of each room and then have a chart that compares them all at once. Nice site, wish I had seen it before I went
I would make the room description more clear if they are separated from the general floor. I enjoyed the places like TI, Wynn, etc. where there was no noise from slots constantly going off in my ears. You could give 1/2 credit to the ones that are closer to sport bookings where the noise is reduced but can still be present. Give low scores to places like Excalibur that has there’s in the middle of everything.
