That's pretty bizarre. I don't remember for sure now, but doesn't ongame force you to post the missing blinds (i.e. SB & BB) when you rejoin the game when you are not in the blinds? I guess if ongame only make you post the BB, then you save the SB per orbit, but you get to play 20% less hands, so cost per hand goes from .15BB to .125BB. Hardly seems worth it. | | Static Link |

From BonusWhores.com Website Forum:
koko333 wrote: Rates have been changed. I do realize that they may be off for a lot of you guys. The reason for the rates being off is because our method for figuing contributed rakeback bonuses are somewhat flawed---especially for sites that tend to be relatively tight. Please realize that they are off and are based on hands from PartyPoker and PokerStars which were a lot looser. We will be working on a method to fix them in the very near future.
We are still trying to work on how to make these charts more accurate to the site themselves.

Does anybody have an idea what would offset the recent change in the points system? Taking 10x as a base, how much do they have to change it to make bonuses clear at roughly the same rate as before - would 8x be enough? | | Static Link |

I was begining to doubt that clearing rate which shuld be over 3 usd per hour is correct and ofcourse it isnt anymore. And those bastards didnt even send one email to notify users. I asked them why didnt they notify users in lobby chat and support replied that it was written in their poker site somewhere. Yeah like all of us check that site all over again once signed and playing. And then when we were writing this in a lobby chat more and more players started to ask, what is new, what is this talk about points etc. So I beleive more than 50 % of players dont even know that. How fucked up are those poker sites. And I only began to clear this 5x up to 200 usd sign up bonus. Now I will withdraw imidiately becouse this sucks. It says $3 per hour and 0.5/1 SH table. I have played about 6 hours 2 tables which should equal $36 or a third of the $100 bonus. Right now I have cleared less then 8% ofthe bonus.
So the actual rate would be somthing like 0.65 (plus minus x but definitely not $3)

It used to be 1.2p a hand. Sounds like it hasn't dropped too much. I tried 3/6 and got about 0.65-0.7p a hand, as it used to be 0.93p. However, the lower rake more than compensates for this. Before the rake was about 3.3BB/100 in 3/6, and now it's about 2.6BB/100. | | Static Link |

Are you playing Full ring? To get that many points you would need to contribute in 45% of pots.
really shoulda said it was 5max at generally very, very loose tables so large pots.
nowhere near 45% tho
I think blinds count as contributing to the pot, so that is 40% in 5max

Hello,
I have noticed on a number of forums and other Ongame sites that the way Player Points are calculated has changed.
Can you please confirm this and update your web site to the new rate?
I have noticed that my bonus is now clearing slower which is disappointing.

Yes, it's certain that bonuses will clear more slowly. But if the rake I pay drops enough, that may compensate for the drop in bonus clearing rate.
