Sorry if my post wasn't clear last night, I was ery tired and more then a little frustrated. I do feel like an idiot not knowing that you can only use 2 of your 4 hole cards. And as far as playing a hand like that, well the other players were playing pretty crappy hands and I was pretty tired so my judgement was probably impaired some.
Part of my reasoning for not using Ultimatebet any more is quite a few people have brought up the accuracy and randomness of the software they use to shuffle and deal cards. I'm no expert but I've been in situations where I've been dealt the same exact hand, two or three times in a row, and it happens pretty frequently. I'm not ery familiar with the software that is used in the online poker industry but it makes me more then a little paranoid when I get into multiple bad beats like that with the same player consecutively.
Again I'm not up to date on what the average rake percent in micro limits is but I've been hearing alot of people saying that it's qu... | | Read Entire Entry |

yeah they should come up with some software for their sites where it eliminates the two cards you can't use after the flop, turn, river... like highlight the two that you use, that would be a nice feature so you never mess up.

I used to jump the gun as well and forget that I can only use two of the four when I first started playing Omaha.
Well that was an expensive lesson.
Aside from that I'm done with Ultimatebet anyway. Having a really bad streak where in NL holdem people are beating me with the same hand but with a slightly higher kicker, for instance
I have: 8,10
Opponent has: 8,J
Flop/turn/river: 8h,2s,3c,Ad,7d
What makes it weird is it happend 3 or 4 times in a row with the SAME player. And it's happend with multiple people, i dunno maybe its some glitch or just really bad luck, but it's just not been my day at all.

in Omaha you HAVE to use exactly 2 cards from your hand and 3 cards from the board... Although im not quite sure how u had 3 eights a 7 and a 2 meaning you had 5 cards... but with the flop you showed, you had a pair of 8s
hope that makes sense

You didn't have a full house. In Omaha, you must play exactly two of your hole cards and three of the board cards. What were the turn and river cards? Post that and we can confirm exactly what your final hand actually was.
~edit: eh, posted same time.

Was playing on Ultimatebet tonight in omaha and I was dealt three eights and a 7, with a 2 on the side. Flop hits 3h,jh,7d, I go all in and the other player beat me with a 9high flush when i had a Full house 8's full of sevens?
is there something I'm issing here? Last i checked Full Houses beat flush's?!?!?!?!
