Bigotry and racism are ugly...very ugly. Hopefully you never have to experience that again, but the simple truth is there are stupid people out there. Perhaps in the future, you could make a note or something of this player and steer clear from their table. Otherwise, perhaps get a chat log and send it to the poker client. Sorry again you had to experience that.

The Bottom line is if everyone was nice to everyone else there would'nt be any problems! the problem with most people is that they can't stand others having opinions! if somone don't agree with something your saying they can't just listen! they have to chastise others for thier opinions then force thier opinion onto everyone else! CAN'T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG! i would always suggest killing them with kindness!

I saw it on one of our freerolls a couple of weeks ago. Same word, same site, same situation. Gross.

Just another sign of how some people will never understand how to treat people and that what they say can have lasting effects

Don't know what, or how much one can do to stop this, the relative anonymity of the INTERNET & all that, but it is probably the single biggest reason I stayed around CardsChat long enough to appreciate all the poker related information here. Having started out at Party Poker & other poker sites play tables the nastiness & itriol that seemed to permeate every game or free roll had me about ready to abandon on line poker until I found this oasis of decency & good humor. Basically turn off the chat, or as you did report the worst of them to support & hope for the best. Not much help I know but one of the consequences of a free society is being exposed to speech that shocks or outrages you.

I don't think he's talking about one of our free rolls? Either way, it probably only resulted in a warning.

Before you put any of us in jeopardy, I think we would want a wee bit more proof that so and so did such and such. A screen shot would work, or perhaps a Hand History, which usually shows all chat.

In some cases abuse exists because we allow it to exist. In many other cases, freedom of speech must be tolerated above the fray caused by some fools utterances at an inappropriate moment, in the 'heat of the battle' so to speak.

A week ago in a simple freeroll on Full Tilt Poker
a poor player was eliminated and called one of the other players the "n" word! I reported it to the site abuse line and was ery dissappointed to see the player was still on the site. I think abuse is something the game can do without but this is unexcusable. If I get enough agreement maybe I'll releas his handle and we can all write at once!
