| Posted by: GoldBoar at June 7, 2007, 1:28 pm | | Topic: Paradise finally moving Forum: Bonus Whores | I have a good memory, but it's short.
I forgot how the cashout process looks like nothing is happening, so I assumed that nothing was and I decided to see what the play was like. Then I get an e-mail which essentially says,
"Dear Whore,
We can't give you your money while you're playing with it. Close the client and we'll pay you."
So it looks like the whole process is handled manually. Since I was up (thanks to a CS on my right), processing the cashout would have left some $ behind, so I replied requesting the cashout be cancelled, and got a reply that it was.
One other note, FPPs are not accumulating correctly. I've emailed them about what's going on, but no reply yet.

Moneybookers, and I hadn't deposited with it before. I'm glad I DIDN'T withdraw before the upgrade, because that would've had to be to my CC, and you can bet they would charge a lot more exchange vig. | | Static Link |

It's not an either/or. Some poker rooms will allow you to get RB, that doesn't preclude you for getting a sign-up bonus as well.

Hello,
I have some pending bonus that came over with the new software. Although it shows as pending in the lobby, I can’t find any information on how to track its clearance…it doesn’t show up when I click the Support tab and then the Bonus Information page. Are you honoring the original terms of 10x raked hands that were agreed to when I deposited for the bonuses?
Also, for some reason my currency has been switched to Canadian $ in your cashier. I’m not sure why, I certainly didn’t request this. I play in US $, and my eWallet is in US $, so changing it to Canadian $ in between seems pointless and just costs me money. Can it please be changed back to US $?
Thanks for your time, and have a GREAT day!

I have not yet tried to cash-out.
What happens is that when I open the poker client, my balance shows up in US $. However, when I go to cashout, they change it to Canadian $. I asked to cashout $100, so they sent $108 Canadian to my Moneybookers account. Of course, I have my Moneybookers account set up in US $, so it lands in my Moneybookers account as $98.52 US. My old Paradise account was in US $, I always funded and cashed out in US $. I guess if you have a Canadian address, they decide your funding should be done in Canadian $. Sigh.

I have same problem as Bobo Fett, so I can confirm this.
My old paradise account was in US currency, but they set up my new sportingbet sportbook account in Canadian currency, and my moneybookers account is a USD account.
The new paradise software is very misleading however. When I start it up, it shows me the sportbook balance in US funds, however it is actually convering the Canadian currency balance to US dollars and reporting the converted amount to me.

As for their quick switch from the "$50 at the old terms" I posted above (and which you can still see at http://www.sportingbet.com/t/paradise/welcomeBonus.aspx to "$100 at a sucky rate", that's even worse. I had a bad feeling about stacking all those bonuses I knew I wouldn't clear before the switch... as it turns out, the only good thing about this move is that they work with MoneyBookers, so I can get my $ out without asking for a cheque.
It was fun while it lasted.
