Here is the latest from the Heads-Up competition:
Brandi POB'd
Brandi Hawbaker sure looked purty in her cocktail dress and five-inch heels, but she couldn't translate the glamour (or her Sklanskified education) into a decent showing at the poker tables. Hawbaker got all-in early with 4-2 on a board of A-8-2-4-9 and was called by opponent Roger McDow, who showed 5-3 for the wheel and the check mark. So long, Ms. Hawbaker!
Shannon Elizabeth Wins!
Shannon Elizabeth gets her rival all-in on the turn with K-5 - good for a pair and a four-flush. Her opponent, Mike Banducci, shows pocket kings, but the cowboys are cracked on the river when a third five hits the board, giving Elizabeth trips and a date at 5 p.m.
Bill Chen Wins in Three Minutes

Two hours and twenty minutes after the original start time, the cards are in the air in the Amazon Room and the barn for the Heads-Up event. While it was originally rumored that a full field of 512 players had shown up, registration faltered somewhere around the late 400s, and thus more than 150 players will have buys until Round 2 begins, somewhere around the 5:00 p.m. PDT restart.
Among the marquee match-ups:
Dan Harrington . Howard Lederer
Jennifer Harman . Ted Forrest
Dustin "Neverwin" Woolf . Johnny Chan
Patrik Antonius . Max Pescatori
Also present are: Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, Nick Schulman, Evelyn Ng, and Brandi Hawbaker in a cocktail dress and five-inch heels. So far her lucky opponent has not materialized, but we've all got our fingers crossed for Captain Tom.
Among the First Round Byes:
Gavin Griffin, Eric Froehlich, Chad Brown, Phil Gordon, Barry Greenstein, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, Jamie Gold, and Mark Seif. Level: 1Blinds: ... | | Read Entire Entry |

im really interested in this one and want to see if Paul Wasicka does good in this like he did in national one. He has a bye the 1st round though along with a bunch of big names. 512 people in it. Too bad our own JuiceeQ isn't in the, the self proclaimed HU expert
Will update when I can.
We'll be playing three rounds today, with the field crammed into 128 tables to start - two dealers and four players (two games) per table. Round 1 will begin at approximately 12:30, so stay tuned to PokerListings.com for comprehensive updates as the action unfolds.
