Some people swear by pokertracker others swear at it. Check their forum out before spending any money. This will give you insight into if there is any alue for you using this program.

I dont know what free erison you are talking about. But the free ersion i have is exactley the same as paying $50 for it.

Also, there is a way to get pokertracker free.

The 'Free' Poker Tracker is almost brain dead. Any useful thing I tried to do told me that I had to register (PAY). The help is not ery helpful.

The way to get the 'trial' ersion to deal with more than those first 1000 hands is to reinstall the trial over the existing files. It's like a new trial (brain dead) ersion all over again.

As a demo of a products ability, I think it is a bad demo.

HOWEVER. I have seen many folks here show screen shots and rave about its ability, and I believe them. If they ever incorporate the ease of input that apparently happens nearly seamlessly from PokerStars into a FullTIlt friendly ersion, I will be seriously tempted to fork out the buck...

agree, even in the demo the guy makes a move on his own hunch and raises in position with a weaker hand cuz he knew the player would fold and stole the blinds .. there alot of feel in poker just memorize the top ten starting hands and or hellmuths top ten and the lower range hands and when to play them, or try the calculator

To 4aces07: You probably have a setting wrong, such as showing stats that are only on people in hands that are 9 handed for example. If you have the option set to 9 handed, and are playing a 6 handed ring game, the stats will never show up for the individual players. Also, the default setting is to only show stats on people that you have a minimum of 25 hands on. It took me a few days of messing around with PT and PAHUD before I got it working.

To the OP: These programs are a tool that can help, thats all. In poker, it's all about making the best decision you possibly can based on the limited information that you have. I think that any tool that can help with providing information can be useful to some degree.

PT and PAHUD have already basically paid for themselves already and I haven't had them all that long. For example, if someone is 5% VP$IP, I will simply not give them any action at all, but if someone is 40% VP$IP, my range of hands to put them on is far greater and I just mi...

Ya but those %%% is something I never learned (I started playing poker without books or anything, I got some money sat down at a table and started playing). I think that something like this could help me make those hard folds knowing I only have a 5% chance of hitting that card I want or whatever :P

Yes, but the whole point of "free" is that you don't pay for it

I've been looking at this place for a while and the program seems pretty nice (especially since you can get it for free) but do you guys think it's worth it?

Would a program like this really help my online game? I understand you can't just count on the program 100% to play for you, but would it help me?

Thanks

*sorry if you can't understand that, ery ery early for me

they do help you win in a way, letting you know what the odds of your card coming up is,how many outs u have ,and what the chance of you and your opponents chances are of making each type of hand.they they even recommend whether you should check/bet /call/raise/fold.but ultimately it comes down to your decision .check out a program called "pokersidekick"i know it works on Poker stars
