When i started, I used to play three or four freerolls at one time. Each freeroll takes at least four hours to complete. The longest I played was 8 hours straight.

Umm, have played some fairly long MTT's. Especially the freerolls with 10k players takes some time. Lately its SnG's with are easier to administer.

The weekend before this last I played for about 13-14 hours straight. I ran across the street and got lunch during a 5 minute tourney break and then ordered in dinner. That was the longest for me online.

I played live in Vegas for about 10 hrs, that's the longest live for me.

lol, same here. That's more than a year ago though when I just got into poker. These days I ery rarely play sessions that are longer than three hours.

depends on the limits. anything 100max up or deep in a tourney i could probably play 8-10 hours before losing any of my game.

I haven't played much poker lately...been focusing on internet marketing and getting on an internet reality show...

But when I use to play every night online...I'd get to a point where I was nodding off and then it probably annoyed other players because there was a delay in me responding with a call or fold or raise.

I even woke up a few times when I just got timed out and saw in front of me pocket Kings or Aces.

Really...if I'm that tired I really shouldn't have been playing...so I stopped doing that

I really do enjoy live play much more...

Cheers,
Vegas Cat

Mine was about 3 hours in a limit tourney. I can only play in like 1 hour sessions or i will just not play right. I really need to improve my patience.

Occasionally, I'll get on early, and play all day; the most I've ever played straight has been about 8 hours; then I'll break for a nap.

I find that around four to five hours on line I start to make the occasional mistake, one that could be significant when playing a tournament and getting deep.

As storm points out, after you stop you tend to "crash" and realize how exhausting the whole thing is....

honestly I dont get tired playing poker, its when I stop I get tired. my last trip to the casino I sat for about 30 hours and didnt feel tired one time till I stopped to go home, then I could barely drive the car.

my mind is working too hard to get tired or bored.

I agree, I definitely find online to be more exhausting than live. Main reason may be that online, I am almost always multi-tabling, whether it is SnGs, MTTs, or ring games, while live I concentrate on one table and one table only.

Whatever the reason, I can easily play 5-9, or even 10-14 hours straight live, but to do that online it gets a bit tougher for me.

Also, I just prefer live, so that may be another reason why I don't get tired when I play live (even if it is for 10+ hours).

Won a PP freeroll that went longer than 7 hours. And that was on a day where I probably played non stop for 12 hours.
Recently I won a razz freeroll which took a bit over 5 hours I seem to remember.

In both I was engaged and getting at least interesting cards, so the fatigue factor didn't come into play there. Without reasonable action I tend to choke about 3 hours in....

the longest i played in one sitting was between 10-14 hours but nowadays i usually take it in 2 hour sessions when playing cash games and usually just one MTT before a break.

I get bored at home on my desktop, my laptop I can cook, use the restroom, do whatever. The TV distracts me sometimes if I get interested. Sometimes I freak myself out, one day I started playing online around 3pm, looked at the clock and it was 5am. Time just flew by . I've lost a lot of sleep before playing online. Live I have sat and blew 6 hours away without noticing it. I wasn't as distracted or bored either.

Im used to sleeping 3-5 hours at night and going on with my day.

I can play for a long time if I've got Family Guy on in the background.
