Well, ob I am not the king of CardsChat, but in my judgement call since I was first on the scene for this thread (and subject to being overruled by Nick, mind you), I'm okay with this for the reasons I stated above.
Basically, IMO, if it is a regular poster that has been here for a while, is generally liked (or at least not terribly hated ), is reasonably trustworthy (as much as can be on the internet for people you've mostly never actually met), is a decent enough proven player, and it is obviously not a scam, then fine with me.
And of course, like I said, this is a biased benefit of the doubt to those that have earned it. If a one post newbie shows up the day after he signs up and asks to do this, I'll delete the thread, no questions asked. I'd think you'd have a better chance if you waited, Estelle. Then the same people might be interested again, whereas right now they might not want to do two at the same time.
(Edit: mind you, people like to gamble, so who knows. You could end up racing each other which would be fun to follow too)
Plus, if storm does well, you'll have lots of offers.

yea I knew i was skating the rules but thought since everyone knows I would never do anything like take their money and run or screw anyone over and people have backed me before it would be no problem.

Well it sort of skirts the forum's rules. But being that you are a member of six months and regular poster with over 850 posts (many in HA/strategy), I don't see this specifically as spam/advertising or money begging (and even if I did, it isn't in a malicious way ). And I'm pretty sure this isn't a scam of any sort.
Of course there is the CardsChat disclaimer...CardsChat/Admin/Moderators assume no liability for ANYTHING related to this at all. If Stormswa up and runs away or fails to win money or anything, that is tough luck but is on you as an individual with no one else to blame. Your money, your risk, your choice.
Note if any brand new and/or unestablished members try this, you will not get this benefit of the doubt. k thx. Longer term membership/posting/regularity has its privileges.

I tried to make a real favorable deal for my backers and I think this one is ery good. $10 for 20+ tourneys sounds good to me.
plus you get backing back 1st then 50%.
so say i make like 1k total, I would pay out the $100 to my backers 1st and then split the $900 to $450 and you would get 5% of $450 soooo $22.50 profit.

Im pretty sure im not breaking any of the rules around deez parts, but I want to offer a backing deal for people here at CardsChat. Now let me clarify that I'm not begging for money because what I'm asking for I will already have in my bankroll.
so you may ask yourself why take backers if you dont need them right?
well the truth is I enjoy having people back me and I think it would be fun to have you all have something invested in my tournaments.
so here is what I propose it will cost you $10 to own 5% of my play through 10 $5 tournaments. If I get more then 5 backers then the amount of tourneys go up. With 5 backers that puts the total of tourney buyins up to 10 with each additional backer after 5 you add 2 tourneys. So if we do the math with 10 backers you will get a piece of me through 20 different tourneys.
