I think some people overplay their favorite hands way to much. I have been knocked out of a few tourneys with a decent hand being called by crap, then i asked them why and they say its theirs favorite hand.
I remember hearing Doyle Brunson saying in an interview that he tries to play 10 2 a least as possible because it isn't a good hand at all.

I dont know why, but I have a really bad tendency to play a K10 for some reason... If I can get in cheap with a K10, I will play usually the flop and take it from there... but the conversion for me winning with this hand is unuasally high...

I play live with a lot of people who are madly in love with pocket twos

Personally, I seem to have a mental block that regards pocket 2s and pocket 4s as weak, but pocket 3s as playable. Go figure... :P

As long as there hasn't been a raise pre-flop, I always play K3.

QTs is by far my favorite hand (QTo I don't care about ery much).

I will play this hand strongly most of the time, often raising from middle position. I will also often call preflop raises when in position.
Even the occasional re-raise is not unheard of

My SawFlop% for QTs is at rank 13/169 (48.44% of all flops). My stats also tell me that I raise this hand preflop 40% of the time which is rank 20/169.

i'll bet preflop when i get 4-4, figure its no big deal to lose 3BB playing my lucky number at a chance of hitting that hidden 444 set haha :P

Used to have a soft spot for 97 suited or unsuited and limp in with it in any position.

-Anyway, silly post for silly people, hence my response.

My favorite hand is my left, but my right can get the job done too.

I play 9-10s a bit too strongly... even though I wouldn't call it an "underdog hand" necessarily. I usually will call raises even OOP with it.

Haha, i know what you mean. I used to always play 6-2 when it was dealt to me although it is a horrible hand. I got lucky with it a few times and considered it 'my lucky hand'. I don't play that hand anymore unless im BB of course. I agree, it isn't good practice.

After a few months at the illustrious CC forums, I fondly overplay 84o.

Other than that, I like to play 57s when cheap (it goes with my sig, duh).

I have a few different friends that each have their own favorite underdog hand. They go to great lengths to always play those hands, even when all other signs point to no.

I wonder if others have their favorite underdog hands that they always play, and what are they? I, personally do not have a favorite that I will always play. Nor do I think it's good practice.
