I played in one the last time they were offered. I took 12th for $28.50. Not bad for a little more than an hour of play.

Yes, I sold my soul to the PPA (which isn't a bad thing) for $3 last night.

I am playing mine now - but probably won't last much longer lol. Nice payouts for a freeroll though. I was gonna play at 7:50 but that got over 5400 so I waited til 9:20 and this one only has 2780.
They are turbos - so won't take too long. The membership is only introductory - you probably get an email inviting you to officially join.

PokerStars is offering a.. Let me re-phrase that. The PPA (Poker Players Alliance) is offering over 20 $5k tournaments for US players only. Each US player can play in one $5k Tournament. Winner typically gets $700-$1000.
Anyways, the tourneys are on at the following times: 19:50pm Eastern, 21:20pm Eastern, and 22:50pm Eastern.
(If this has already been posted, ery sorry)
These tournaments are a bit tricky. By entering one of these tournaments PokerStars has the right to give the PPA your information (address, phone number etc.). In other words: By playing in this tournament you become a member of the PPA.
Anyways.. Good luck to all players playing in these tournaments. A thanks is due to the PPA for offering over $100k in Freeroll tournaments for the US.
Hope this helped.
