Thanks for becoming an offical Alpha tester
I guess a US / non-US site filter is essential.
Is microgaming the only US accepting network that doesn't accept all americans?
Would any other countries feel let down if a filter wasn't set up for them (eg aussies not being able to play at carbon).
Are there any other major bans? | | Static Link |

Great idea.
a widget is a little thing that can sit on your desktop. There are heaps of them available for download doing things like weather reports, news feed and all sorts of other stupid things.
yahoo provides an engine to compile them which you need to download. I can package the download into to widget so you won't have to go find it. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: daraider at November 6, 2007, 3:21 pm | | Topic: poker bonus calculator Forum: Bonus Whores | I am not going to research all the MGR deductions because a) they are relativly small compared to bonuses we are earning i hope . But i will give an option to determine how long it takes to "work off" an MGR deduction for rb people. b)This will be user inputed as it will be too hard to list them all for each site when it will be irrelevent to most users. You can use that to work out for deposit costs but it is mainly meant for shop purchases. c) i don't want to take any personal info from the user like country etc as it is already going to be pretty damn full on to start with.
As many different bonuses as possible will be added and hopefully get updated as best as possible.
Yes rb will be included and worked out the way it would be worked out for the site (ie dealt rakeback and contributed rakeback).
It is well underway and reading data from the PT database It will probably be about 2 weeks to fruition. Initially work may need to be done on it but user feedbac... | | Read Entire Entry |

I don't know if it is worth giving an option to deduct other things from the mgr? The only other significant thing would be shop purchases right? or am i missing something?
Awesome ideas.
The only other thing that would affect RB, for Americans at least, is deposits. Places like Full Tilt deduct the deposit fee (for instance Epassporte charges a fee when you make a transfer to a room) from MGR. But I know these things aren't universal and vary not only from site to site, but from country to country. So that's where it might get a little complex--researching all that.
Or you could leave it up to the user and just have an input field 'MGR Deduction' and the user could put any shop purchases/fees that would be deducted from MGR. That to me seems like the most robust option. | | Static Link |

Quote: Also will add rates per 100 hands as well as an hourly rate based upon the number of hands you play on average(pretty sure this is in PT) per hour.
FWIW this is basically all I want to see. I can't think of anything extra, maybe others can.
Including an option for any rakeback would also be great.
Then sum it all up to calculate % total rakeback.

P.S I'd be more than happy to download the yahoo widget to have this tool. | | Static Link |

this is planned and considered essential.

Obviously it will have the option for just rb too.
Also current bonuses will be coded in and automatically updated via the widget. Main reason i want to use yahoo widgets to allow dynamic updating of bonuses.

What features would people be looking for?
Would you be willing to download the yahoo widget engine to use it? | | Static Link |
