I believe it is illegal for the sites to advertise their real money sites in the US. I believe even before the recent legislation the only poker site commercials that could be aired were the .net ones. I am not certain about this, but I do know I have never seen a .com commercial in the US.

welli was going to post the link but i might get another 2 point spamming/advertising "infraction" but you all will agree that this is the BEST poker commercial ever-BAR-NONE! go to YouTube ideos and search "Banned Phil Ivey Commercial" and sit back and prepare to laugh your ass off! its about a minute long, and its a Full Tilt Poker advertisement, but lets just say theres a reason for it being BANNED. LOL!!

The commercial you saw was for Full Tilt.net, not .com. The .net site is play money only; there is no real money account there. All of the poker ads in the US are for .net sites, but not sure about elsewhere in the world.

I like the Full Tilt advert where Ivey talks about seeing the same old faces at the final table.
However, what I don't get is the message on the screen

Me, being the skeptic just thinks he did that on purpose just as a publicity stunt. I doubt he cares about the repair/damages bill, if he actually did have to pay for it. It's just absolutely priceless!

I love this! And he did it the ery day before his day 1 session at this year's ME. Only regrets, Havad Khan and Humberto Brenes weren't tied to the pole/front bumper.

Just curious as to what people deem to be the best poker commercials out there. Personal favourties have to be the PokerRoom one with the bad/sore loser at Christmas - totally rips into the old guy! Another good one is the one where PokerRoom finishes "good poker players know when to fold" - you'll see what I mean after watching it.
