Just kidding, good luck with the BR building.
If I did that, I would be a felon...Class C offender in my state, and I would really prefer to learn poker on the outside

I agree. I've had 94 cents sitting in fulltilt since my first CC freeroll, Going to eventually build it up.
My best win in a donk-a-thon was $4.75 on Bodog...that's gone. I'm a dork. I now practice BR with play money. Building good habits and all, ya know...

Play the absolute lowest limits possible. Keep playing freerolls. Its a ery tough challenge and the only ways to do it are with a little luck and some good bankroll management.
Good luck

I wouldn't sit down at a .1/.2 table at PS unless you want to be thrown around and more or less gamble trying to double up. It looks like you're doing a ery nice job in those tournaments. Very nice, since it's the lowest possible buy-in = donkeys galore. I'd stick to the tourneys, if I were you, until you had more in the BR to attempt buying in for $1 at a ring and risking a large % of the BR. Good luck.

I've been trying this as well. I started with a 3.50 fr cash, nearly bust it, cashed in the 25c like you, more cashes and got it up to about $12 then all the way the back down to my last $. Cashed again in the 25c and now back up to $5. That's been about a month of play on Stars and it's been a real slog.
But enough about me . In answer to your question, obviously standard BR practice goes out the window when you are so shortly rolled as we are, but you can still get a lot of play out of it. I would recommend playing with a 10x rule. So stick to the 10c games until you have 2.50 or more then switch to the 25c tourneys until you can get up to $5, then to the 50c until you can get to $10. Once you can get past 10$ you can start looking at what else you might want to try, but don't let yourself get dragged back down to pennies again like I did because I started the $1 and $2 games, missed, and its a real bitch to have to start all over.

According to BR management, you should only be playing in $.04 games right now. If $.10 is the lowest, I'd say start there. No reason in giving away what you've worked for. You can play 9 $.10 tournies, or 1 $.50 tourney. I'd say stick to $.10. Once you get your BR up to $10, then try the $.50 tourney. However, that may be hard to wait for, so at least $5.00+

I never deposited on PokerStars but played in some freerolls....up till last night i had like 42 cents....i ended up placing in a 25 cent tourney and now i am up to 97 cents....i have decided to keep going with this.....i don't play on PS much but they have these 10 cent, 25 cent, and 50 cent tourneys....i'm deciding if i should play the 10 cent tourneys and be conservative with my money...or just try the 50 cent and go for more money??? any suggestions?
