I'm afraid I have to agree with what is being said about BetZip/Pure Play.
It's a total waste of time and, if you are stupid enough, money.
The cards are either rigged or the Random Number Generator is a caged monkey flipping a coin. You only have to watch the tables for a couple of days to realise that the accusations that the admin play the tables and control certain aspects of the game may actually be well founded.
And on top of all that EVEN IF the site was absolutely 100% fair the real money games available do not in any way justify the subscription charge.
They say "win big without paying anything, without a credit card"
A quick glance at the site and format proves that's a lie so why should anyone expect the cards to be straight.
They deserve to be sued for wasting peoples time/money under false pretences. And they deserve a kick in the ass for turning such a good idea into a joke.

BetZip, as far as I can tell, is a complete waste of time and money. I has a trrial membership there for about a week, played like 3 times and never went back. A total joke.

Why would I want to pay for a membership at an online poker site when I can play for free at basically any major online poker site online today... as well, when I want to play a tourney, I will pay my buy in, and play... If something comes up with my production company, and I have to do... lets say a month long shoot, I am out 50 bucks for a membership and not having much time to play any major tournaments.....I dont know but I dont think you should have to pay to belong to a online gambling site... Also, if you want to test a software by playing for "free", a membership does not allow for people to test our what an online poker site is all about!

The site sucks... you can play for free anywhere!!!
After playing a while you WILL notice ...hands that wouldn't normally win...2,4 offsuit...go all in , chances are you'll win with a full house on the river...happens sooooooo much. Not in the beginning, when your free or first sign up....after about the first year, then you'll start to loose to the "new members" ....VERY often and usually to horrible hands...i've seen more flushes, 4 of a kinds and full houses on the river...WAYYY more than any normal odds would allow. i still play, but just choose to not pay the 20 a month until something is done. oh also, they use to have "hot seats" if you got the opportunity to sit in one of these...you would win almost every hand if not 80% or better...and those that have played betzip "pure play" long enough have seen this for themselves....they have so called tried to change this by allowing you to choose your own seat...but it still hasn't changed, ...just sit in the seat ... | | Read Entire Entry |

No. Topp44 was the Prima advocate. There was some other guy that used to come on at all hours of the night and between the 2 of us we had 4 or 5 threads deleted and or locked.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever heard anything good about Betzip. Stay away!

I'm sure we all have got that chipvault email- join betzip players club.
I've been playing there since last October, became a paying member mid December. Won a $75 dollar tourney for $50 in November. Another $10 in December. Since January I've won a tourney for $100 and some smaller prizes =$85..+185 so far this year.
This site has a different format. Monthly membership fee and free entry to cash tourneys. Daily schedule 1pm $100 pays 1 spot 3pm $150 pays 4 spots 5pm & 7 pm $250 pays six spots 830pm $500 pays 16 spots- first is 200 10pm $1000 pays 28 spots- 300 for first. 1130pm $250 pays 6 spots. In addition to cash you collect tourney points. You use your tourney points to enter Saturday Qualifiers to reach the main event $5000 pays 90 spots ( only 500 entries) and once a month it is $20,000 paying 205 spots (500 entries) !st place in the 5000 pays 1k, 5k for the $20,000. Most of the prizes are only $10 though..
