Softness is based on the average pot size relative to the average pot size for all rooms, for each level. The looser the games are, the softer they should be. This data is gathered daily.
It also takes into account the availability of games at each level as a % of the time multiplied by the softness factor. i.e. sites with always 1 game running are always multiplied by 100% but if a game is only available 50% of the time, it really hurts the score. We gather this data daily as well.
The last value is the hourly earn rate for each level, in $. This value is calculated based on the bonus clearing terms. | | Static Link |

Anyone know why Trident is higher in the list than Party in this instance?

The reason that Trident is coming up before PartyPoker is due to the data that we have collected. When I took a look at your requirements that you posted and I noticed that at the limit you chose, $0.50/$1.00. Based on our data the games ar better at Trident at that limit and also based on the other items you selected. I hope this answered your question.
