If you have to have the resources to rebuy, you are one of the donks IMHO.

Thanks for the links. Interesting reading. I dont think rebuys are suited to my bankroll or style of play. Still funny to watch.

Here's two really good articles on how to play them.
Rebuy Poker Tournament Strategy - Part I
Rebuy Poker Tournament Strategy - Part II
They are pretty fun to play in if you have the resources to rebuy. Nice thing about them is they really bump up the final payouts from all the donk play.

I do not understand the whole rebuy tournament scenario. I have not played any however I have watched a lot of them to try and get an understanding of how to play them properly.
They appear to function like a freeroll until the end of the rebuy period with people raising UTG with Ace Rag and getting 5 callers. I know people play more cards because you have a backup for a rebuy.
What I dont understand is the people who will bust out chasing everything 5 or 6 times and keep rebuying. They then commit themselves to having to finish in the top (insert low percentage here) to break even.
The addons make perfect sense.
I stick to freezout tourneys.
Any thoughts.
