The odds of flopping one are 1 in 649,740. Not sure about the odds of just getting one.

I've heard it's typical to get one once a year or so...very slim chances to get one in hold'em. Although, I haven't been playing for more than a few months, I think....lol I can't even remember . But yeah, I think the chances of getting one are 1 in 63,000-something(I forget). Don't worry, keep playing and you're bound to see one .

lol yeah not too bad at all. Mine may never have been seen were it not for a donk call(lol). I go all in pre-flop with ace queen of diamonds(This was no important tourney) and get called by 3 5 of hearts. By the turn I had made my royal flush, and it just took a moment for that to stick in my mind. Then I exclaimed it to everybody and was so happy! lol. What's really funny is the way the system expressed it :so-and-so shows a pair of threes; Semicolonkid shows a royal flush.....lol if he had folded I never would've know what would've happened...

I got my first Royal early in a tournament 3 days ago. I had 1200 chips at the time, and I got in the pot with 2 chips leaders at my table at the time. I had AK of Diamonds, and the flop was Qd, Jd, 6s. I bet out with 400 thinking I had a lot of outs with the straight or the flush draw, but I never think about the Royal flush. I hit the 10d on the turn. I checked, and then was raised all in by middle position. Late position called, and I called, making the pot 3600, and then the side pot was at 1025. Middle position flipped over 2 pair with QJ, and late position flipped over pocket aces. I ended up winning the pot, and I finished 19th in the tournament out of 2500 players. Not bad.

lol oh well I guess you can't expect much when asking for a royal flush. I got a straight flush a little bit ago...maybe I should change it to that...?

couple of months ago, i hit one on the flop. got no action, won 30 chips from a blind. it was terrible feeling. I didn't even show it to the table.

How many royal flushes have any of you ever had? Hand histories for proof would be nice, but I'm sorry to say I wasn't recording my hand histories the time I got one, but I did from then on.
So, I'll be the first to say I've only ever gotten one royal flush.
What about you guys?

I guess when u play poker its more like being on a hot streak then being lucky. we all get lucky and unlucky playing this game but being on a hot streak is different.
Last few days I am on that streak won over $1300 the other day and now I hit a royal flush and actually got paid

My first and only royal flush was on poker stars it was a sit n go for play money i wish it was in a high stakes game lol. I had A Q of hearts and K J came up of the flop and 10 on the river. I eliminated two people in that hand which felt good and put me in a dominating chip lead

No, what I always do, is if I have a monster I keep one hand on the mouse, the other on alt-print screen, and then immediately paste it into paint. I have saved screen shots of all my good hands and tournament money shows.

uh ....yeah redneck one hand usually has little overall effect on a whole tournament unless its a monster pot.wow ronan wtf was that guy even doing seeing the river on that hand with the K highSF?bonkers.it never evn occurred to me that i could save screens.do you have to have replay like full-tilt,because the screen changes so quick on pokerstars?

I've had a royal flush 4 times and played about 2000 tourneys. It's nice to hit, but u still need more to win the tourney. I finished 8th 1 time when i had a royal flush. Never finished higher when i had a royal flush. But it's still fun.

i hit 2 royal flushes in 2 days!both hearts,both on pokerstars both in the same 2 day period.both i checked right through,since it was in the play money rooms(of course).not to mention pocket aces 4 times in a row once on pokerstars too.their play money rooms are starting to become a lil suspicious to me.the real money rooms i cant get rockets and on the rare occasion i do i either get no action or a bad beat.but hey "thats no limit baby"

My wife just got my first Royal flush. I was playing seven stud in a tourney and I needed to well let just say go to the mens room. I told her to play the hand for me I come back and she is sitting with three of the five cards in Diamonds. I just kidding said what she needed for a royal and sure as sh.. it came up... Funny part is the only response she got out of it was someone saying nice hand.....lol

I still haven't gotten the Royal Flush, but Ive had some ery memorable straight flushes. I was in an Omaha SnG, looking at KsQs10dAd, double suited monster of a hand, and I was raised and I just called. Flop Js10s9s. Checked it, he bet into me and i called and the turn paired the board, he bet the pot and I pushed him all in as he turns up 10s full. I rivered Queen High Straight flush against J 10 off, he flopped top 2 and I had open ender straight flush/flush draw with my pocket 8's. But Great Job to all who have had the MOTHER HAND OF POKER!!!
