I like this one....
People can play poker for other reasons, like ego, but correct poker playing is putting yourself in the most mathematically advantageous situation possible
That is the poker thing I always thinking about. But the interresting things is that the math is changing after which player you are up against. ( how many times will he fold if I bet half the pot) If he will fold half of the times ore more it is the correct decicion to try to bluff.

Poker skill is the exploitation of advantages: both simple and extremely complicated ones. Exploiting advantages in game selection, enue (ring games, tournaments), bankroll, hand situations... these are all examples of poker skill.
Many people look at the "skill" in poker in a ery limited and extremely unhelpful way. They think of actual hand-playing skills as the skill in poker, when those skills are merely a subset of a greater number of skills.
Poker is played for money. Money is how we keep score. But correct play is not judged by who wins the most money. Correct play is a matter of positive expectation on our actions -- and our actions include many more things than merely betting. I don't like to think in terms of "the best players" because that is basically meaningless. The best players though are the ones who play correctly. The best players are the ones who consistently get the best of it the best.

I am 100% aggree .
One thing most players do wrong is table selection, they play when they have little to no advantage of earning money. ( I did that wrong before too).
In my opinion a good cash game poker player is a player who have small downswings............
