Because you can get some good tips in those books. Most of the authors today got started in poker by reading someone's book.

I dont have the Audio Version, but I think its better to get the hardcopy. so you can relook at things that you like in his books. And apply it later to your play.

I really like the book as well. It is ery easy to read and makes you think a little bit more. With out all the huge paragraphs with small writing it lets you digest the information a little easier at first. Very good read. I recommend to all. I also wanted to mention that he also has a "Little Blue Book" that I have yet to read. I am hoping to buy it soon so If someone gets it before please fill me in.

I really liked it, and it's the favourite book of my weekly live poker game. It's a good great and has a great assortment of general tips and tricks and helped me think about how to approach hands early on, but not quite as rigorous a treatment of the mathematics or poker theory as say Harrington (not necessarily a bad thing).
