It doesn't matter.
I deleted the whole folder too and worked propely.

Actually, I was curious if he had deleted any of that (UCID or entire folder) since I didn't see it in his procedures.

From hof's FAQ:

Quote: REGEDIT: Go back to the registry folder. Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >>SOFTWARE>> Calculator>> (delete the UCID file)

I deleted the entire calculator folder, not just the UCID part inside it. I always thought this was a must for a successful party cleansing. Did you not delete it?

I just did a spring cleaning for the PokerNow signup/reloead, worked fine.

Details:
Windows XP

Did Add/remove programs on all Party skins

Internet Explorer: deleted cookies, temp files, and tools/manage addons: removed Party skin addons

Registry: Removed Party skin folders (no calculator item in there, XP thing?)

Windows Explorer (file manager): manually deleted all Party skin folders left over from uninstall (pet peeve: when in God's name will they make a good uninstaller??? )

Defragged my hard drive for good measure! Reboot.

I probably didn't have to do all that, but it worked like a charm. Others have mentioned making a new account in XP, easy enough to do.

Hope this helps!

Did you delete the calculator registry entry? You said you read the FAQ, but I'm just asking since you didn't mention it. FWIW, I couldn't find the calculator on my most recent cleaning of my roommate's computer. I just cleaned mine (WinME) for him and it worked. Cleaned it once more for myself after he deposited and played a few hands. Check to make sure the calculator entry is gone from the registry as described in the FAQ, but if it's gone, I'd say look for another computer.

I don't think IP is your problem, as I have successfully signed up several accounts from the same one. However, the "cleaning up" of your computer seems to work only for some people, some versions of windows, etc etc.

There are only a few fool-proof ways of succeeding, I guess - all involving the use of new, clean computers, or software/setup that achieves pretty much the same thing (virtual machines to sign up on, ghosting your OS to a point before you installed the software, etc).

Is it possible he can't sign up because of using the same ip address? I read somewhere they might not allow mulitiple sign ups from the same ip??

The best thing to do fella is wipe your hard drive clean and re install windows that is the only way you can be sure you have a clean computer, if this isn't possible, then replace your hard drive.

Ok. I haven't been able to find a "clean" computer. What I did
I deleted all my history files/ temory files/skins/ on my hard drive.
I searched for the wolrd Party/Empire/Poker om my hard drive and my registery and deleted EVERY folder containing these words.
Now I reboot I do that again to make sure everything is fine.

It still didn't work. Jeez... I really don't get it I did it 3 times now and it's always the same it doesn'T work...

Anyone would have a little idea of what could be missing for it to work ....

Thanks
