what do you mean?
oops. I hear the train a-comin'
Nice of you to remember us! My guess is that would of made Gunslinger happy considering this PM I got from him once.

Whether the rest of you want to do the same is up to you, but at least the strike team is gaining infamy LOL.

It really is too bad that he lost his life on that trip he made to Europe.

5000 'raked' hands on Ongame at 0.5/1 is roughly 17,000 hands. That is a -1.5BB/100 run over a lot of hands. That type of bad run would happen to a breakeven player about once in 20 17,000 hand sessions & happen to a +2BB/100 player once in 1,000 sessions.
So, I think you have work to do. The best evidnece is you are a marginally losing player at 0.5/1. If you are playing multiple tables, go back to one table. Study your hand records. Read. You can learn to do much better but it is going to take some work.

I lost about 260,-$ at limit 050/1$, that means 260 Big Bets.
Is that a normal swing or am I doing something wrong?
I studied books, of course, and play correct starting hands.
What is your experience about swings?
Err.. wrong forum, wrong thread...

i do that now at 1-2 when i play for bonus, so i guess i wil do better on 3-6 or 5-10 , why some1 said 10-20 like there is no middle amounts?
and i refer to a limit game full ring...
I belive that those limits are the toughest online, that might me the reason | | Static Link |

| Posted by: itsallaboutthemusic at February 9, 2007, 1:57 pm | | Topic: playing a winning game? Forum: Bonus Whores | exactly. if you really are an extraordinarily good player, you should be playing at higher limits.
he might have meant he was playing 1/2 and 2/4 nl tho, which would change things...
it would still be a pretty bodonkulous statement in any case. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: DrStrange at February 8, 2007, 12:13 pm | | Topic: playing a winning game? Forum: Bonus Whores | A +2BB/100 player makes ~1.2BB/hour. So at 2/4, a very good player is winning $2.4 per table per hour. Assuming such a player could multi-table 8 2/4 tables at +2BB/100, they would earn $20 per hour.
Personally, I'd move up and play one or two 10/20 tables rather than 8 2/4 tables. I don't see playing 2/4 as an easy living, though it certainly would be possible to make a modest income from playing at that level.

or is that only a theory case?
I've been making it playing 1-2 and 2-4 with just rakeback. But my winrate is really high. | | Static Link |

If the rake is $1 per $20 like Stars/Full Tilt then 2/4 is much more beatable then when it is $.25 per $5 like Absolute and UB. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: merry at February 3, 2007, 12:02 pm | | Topic: playing a winning game? Forum: Bonus Whores | what limit do you think the rake stops being a big issue?
i am reffering to a full ring game, limit.
i play 1-2$, and usually i make the bonus, so am i a winning player or just a rake player, breaking even. if so isnt there a limit i should be a winning player ( if the other players are loose enuf and i have the bankroll for that...). | | Static Link |
