Assuming you're using a USD Neteller account to deposit and withdraw, then yes.

When you go to the cashier, you will see pounds in your balance. However, you can still register a US account.

Only two crypto sites require depositing in pounds, UK and Total. You shouldn't be depositing in pounds, or paying a conversion fee, at any other UK sites. And if you are paying 14% fees, well, you have issues because Neteller charges 1.9%.

How'd you manage a $ account at Littlewoods? The only options I saw were £ and € IIRC. It's been a few months so I honestly don't remember. Seems to me it was one of those very small links at the top of the screen that shows the $, GBP and Euro symbol to pick before you download. But I can't say for sure now. Hmmm, interesting, I wonder if they'll convert my account. So to get the monthly casino bonus, do you just deposit the $ equivalent of £25? After clearing the poker bonus, they just give you £25 in $ like Will Hill? | | Static Link |

Why? Same network, same tables, same players. Clearance rates are nearly equal.

The conversion fees at Neteller are 1.9% - not 14.
I did some calculations comparing the GBP amounts of my deposits/cashout at the Cryptos with the USD amounts on my Neteller statement, using actual conversion rates. I found out that you lose in fact 1.8-1.9% on average, not more. The poker sites don't take a penny (only the $1/£1 Ecash fee officially announced by the Cryptos).
In addition, you may actually win or lose on the conversion rates, but this has nothing to do with fees.
So even if you deposit $100 each month, clear the bonus and cash out completely, you only lose £2-3 of the £25 bonus. So what? | | Static Link |

Forum: Bonus Whores | With Paradise, the bonus NEVER expires, so put your money in there, take it out after a few days. And like what the other guy said above, the games will be tight for the next week or so because of everyone whoring for the bonus there, so you might want to chill for a bit.
With Absolute, the bonus expires in 60 days? I don't know if you can make withdrawals while you're clearing the bonus. The games are much tighter here, at prime time I checked there were 5 tables of $1/$2, and 3 tables of $5/$10, and if you click on each of those $1/$2, you'll some people there multi-table-ing... and they have 9 seat tables, not 10.
HOWEVER, if you have that 27.5% rakeback, it might be worth doing because Absolute Poker's rake back calculation is not subtracted with the bonus incentives. So you can earn rakeback AND earn bonus at the same time. But yeah, the software is crap, the tables look like crap, it's just too bright and colourful, hard on the eyes.
But either way, both are 10x to clear. ... | | Read Entire Entry |

I think it is a lot closer to 2% and with the amount of money you'd be moving I bet you wouldn't even notice it. However, I still think Paradise will be good for you.

Why on earth not? It's one of the better bonuses out there, imho. And if you are already doing Cryptos, UKBetting and Totalbet should be on your list too. And the Ritz Club, if you're outside the US.

Even if the penalty is less, it's still not worth going for a small bonus just to get hit with conversion penalty. Might as well play at Party for no bonus, no conversion, and no wait time. | | Static Link |

| Posted by: Alphaunit1 at August 27, 2005, 10:30 am | | Topic: Absolute or Paradise? Forum: Bonus Whores | Paradise's tables will be tight for the next week or so, but overall I would still recommend depositing at Paradise - the bonus never expires, so you can deposit, play for a bit today, and do a withdrawal if you want - the bonus will stay forever. Absolute has bonuses 2-3 times/week, so you aren't losing out by not hitting it up this weekend.
Littlewoods is a good bonus, but it really depends on whether you (a) like playing at the Crypto sites, and (b) are willing to wait the extra time for the PIN so you can withdraw your money. | | Static Link |

I already have accounts set up at Absolute and Paradise, and they both have a bonus active today. I plan on playing 1/2 LHE full ring.
Which should I choose, and why?
