Which means you get rakeback while you're clearing your bonus... while other websites your rakeback is subtracted by the cleared bonuses

Forum: Bonus Whores | | Bonuses are almost always better than rakeback unless you run out of bonuses to whore or can't stand playing at some sites. The only ideal thing would be to get bonuses and rakeback at the same time but most deals take bonus money out of rake figures. Some will point out that if you don't get rakeback from the start you'll miss out, which is true, but your current level of play and stakes wouldn't seem to make rakeback worth much to you. I have rakeback at a site I don't particularly like and now it's worthless to me and my affiliate after spending a lot of time worrying about it, finding it, setting it up, and tracking it. And rakeback affiliates compete with BW, so keep that in mind too. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: trexter at October 21, 2005, 9:23 am | | Topic: Rakeback? Forum: Bonus Whores | Hi,
My plan is to play at least 3 Short-handed $100 NL tables. Hopefully I will soon advance to NL $200. I play about 20h/week. Would I be better off taking a rakeback deal of let's say 30% than using bonuses?
I feel that bonuses are great but I also waste a lot of time reading about and searching after them.

Forum: Bonus Whores | If you are interested in setting up a rakeback account, Absolute is probably the place you wanna do it since they offer bottomless reloads and your bonus earning is NOT deducted from your MGR (monthly gross revenue) resulted from genertaing rakeback. Personally, I hate playing there because it consists of so many bonus whores, making the whole place a rock garden.
If you are gonna register a rakeback account, you will have to do it thru one of the affiliates, so the chances are you won't be eligible for refer-a-friend bonus. | | Static Link |

Forum: Bonus Whores | | Actually, Absolute is one of the sites you want rakeback at, and using a referral sign-up would probably prohibit that. There are definately threads about rakeback at Absolute, if you want to read more about that. As for a general definition ... I can't be bothered right now | | Static Link |

Forum: Bonus Whores | | You can still sign up for rakeback while getting a bonus, but only at very few sites does working on the bonus count in your rakeback. In order to get the rakeback money you will have to play other than the bonus there. (I believe UB, some Cryptos, and Absolute, but dont quote me on that) | | Static Link |

Unless you play at 3/6 and above, bonuses will outpace your rakeback so you wouldn't get any rakeback at most sites anyway. Very few sites will let you close your account so you can start a new one with rakeback. I think it might be possible with Absolute and they're a good one since they don't deduct bonuses from your MGR. Like I said, I'm not 100% sure about Absolute. This question comes up a lot so try searching or ask your rakeback provider about it. For the party network, most people get rakeback set up on Eurobet. | | Static Link |
