| Posted by: Sohaaron at October 24, 2005, 6:06 pm | | Topic: Need vet tips for Interpoker Forum: Bonus Whores | forget Interpoker and Sun, the other Cryptos are a way way better deal for 1/2 players. The following Crypto sites offer good deals to play at 1/2 and above
Ritz Club - 5 hours for 25GBP ie. 2-tabling = only 2.5 hrs of play required
Totalbet - same
UK Betting - same
Will Hill - same
Littlewoods - 250 hands for 25GBP
Pokerplex - 300 hands for $50
Im sure im forgetting something here, but anyways theres about 30 table-hours of play for an easy $300 hope this helps | | Static Link |
| Posted by: PianoWhore at October 23, 2005, 7:53 am | | Topic: Need vet tips for Interpoker Forum: Bonus Whores | All good advice, but I noticed one thing missing. Some of the other crypto sites' are much easier to clear, if you are ready for 1/2. PokerPlex and LittleWoods pay after a certain number of dealt hands, William Hill, after each hour sitting in at a table at the same limit. So these are a good way to ease in to the Cryptos without getting your ass kicked at 2/4.
I had the same problem as you, and only solved it after working on my game and fixing a post flop passivity problem. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: Grinder at October 22, 2005, 1:48 pm | | Topic: Need vet tips for Interpoker Forum: Bonus Whores | The $1/2 tables are basically the same as the $2/4 tables - ON THE OTHER HAND - the £1/2 tables are probebly the best tabls on the net.
Crypto is the best place to play in my view. The yare dumb as turds post flop. When I compare 50,000 hands at Crypto to 50,000 at Party I'll take Crypto hands down.
My last 28,000 hansd on the£1/2 the tables are 35% ASF and they get dumber after the flop.
My BB/100 is better at Crypto then anywhere else.
They play a different game on Crypto and maybe that is the problem - more bluffing more reraising. It's like if you raise they take it as an insult and will reraise just to show you they can not be bullied . . .except YOUR raising for a reason.
I swear most Crypto players are NL players playing limit. Plus the rake at Crypto is much better then party.
Of course my last 4490 hands at Crypto 1/2 and above I'm winning 4.21BB/100 so that might influence my review LOL | | Static Link |
| Posted by: Me and You at October 22, 2005, 7:57 am | | Topic: Need vet tips for Interpoker Forum: Bonus Whores | Unfortunately the Crypto sites have way better players than the party network. My advice is to put in the hours learning the game at the lower limits and move up when ready. WHy jump in a shark infested pool when you can't swim. What I am doing at the moment which may or may not be a good idea is playing on the lowest limit's on each network for 15,000 hands. If I can win 2bb/100 then I move up in limits. Obviously I will move up limits faster on Party than any other but that is the point. The good thing about interpoker is that the bonuses are stackable. THerefore they can be cleared while playing .25-.50 even if it takes forever. The good news is your poker skills will increase. Poker is a game of patience, don't throw away your b/r hunting bonuses when you can build it playing and learning solid poker. The bonuses will come thick and fast and the money poring in when you are playing 5/10 and winning at 2bb/100. Bonuses are good yes but if you are losing money trying to clear them they are bad.

I have whored many sites and returned to all of them except Interpoker because I got crushed there. I have won on top of the bonus everywhere else. I don't have a solution for you, but I am not ready to go back to Interpoker. Now having said that, it could have just been one of those bad runs that can happen in poker. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: Gonzo787 at October 20, 2005, 3:56 pm | | Topic: Need vet tips for Interpoker Forum: Bonus Whores | | Good advice given. I would suggest stacking your bonuses for a couple months ( I have 4 stacked) and at that point decide if you would prefer to play at the poker room or casino. Being a 1/2 guy myself, I prefer to clear it in the casino. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: Alphaunit1 at October 20, 2005, 3:26 pm | | Topic: Need vet tips for Interpoker Forum: Bonus Whores | Do keep in mind that $2/$4 LHE on the Crypto network is nothing like Party $2/$4 either. Tight tables, and some fairly wicked aggressive players. They can be beaten, but will require different tactics than you are used to.
If you have normally been playing .5/1 then jumping to 2/4 is a mistake. It's a huge jump, that few players can handle without easing themselves into it. Focus on the lower-end Cryptos first (which will be tough enough), and leave the $1 rake ones (Interpoker, Caribbean Sun) for a bit later. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: TheFreeze at October 20, 2005, 3:04 pm | | Topic: Need vet tips for Interpoker Forum: Bonus Whores | Moving up in limits just to clear a bonus is always a bad idea. I only play 1/2 LHE on Crypto so can't comment specifically how different the players are on 2/4 from .5/1. Some questions you might ask yourself is are you playing less aggressive because of the jump in limits or are you playing more aggressive or the same but finding your plays aren't working or that you're getting played back at.
I think your question has more to do with moving up in limits in general and less to do with IP/Crypto network. You might try posting some specific HH's in the strategy forum or asking for advice there. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: pulper_80 at October 20, 2005, 2:10 pm | | Topic: Need vet tips for Interpoker Forum: Bonus Whores | I am able to clear bonuses very quickly and easily with party, empire, and paradise. However I seem to get consistently reamed on Interpoker (the first crypto site I've tried). I was hoping if any you veterans have specific tips regarding play on Interpoker. I moved from .5/1 LHE to 2/4 LHE after reading some info about the bonus clearing here, but all that happened is I lost my money quicker to better players. I need to adapt my play, but nothing I have tried has worked so far.
Thanks.
