No, all I agreed with is that the WH bonus is no good for anyone playing .5/1 LHE since the bonus can't be cleared at those levels. But actually I take that back now, WH is the best poker site ever, everyone should play there even without a bonus they are so AWESOME!!!

After that go back to the cryptos and POKERPLEX (as of this month), WillHill, and Total Bet are the only good ones you could do, but do them every month.. And last peice of advise, william hill is a hourly bonus.. Can't you figure out SOME way to milk this one a little better than $2.

As for Bet365...
I love the site, too. Not only have I done well at the tables there, but I've cashed the freerolls in a major way as well. I put $50 in there to open my account and now have $220. This is a good place to play for a low cash layout. (Where else coluld you do this?) The incremental, immediate payout of the bonus helps greatly in this regard.
HOWEVER, I have two warnings for the n00b:
1) Do not confuse the signup bonus and the reload. The signup can be cleared at any limit as long as the pot is raked $0.25. Since I play NL this means a pot of $4.50. (Pretty easy, but not as easy as a Party reload.) The reload requires a pot to be raked $0.25 as well. But the hands must be played at $100NL or $1/2L. This is a considerable difference. Combined with the different style of play it is conceivable that you could lose your ass trying to clear the reload if you are not fully prepared.

As seems to be the case on BW, you rarely explicity state the answer, in fact posters often seem to give the "wrong answer", my LW is still a better option for this guy than WH (someone really should write a 101 for noobs):
In order for a Raked Hand to count toward releasing the bonus money, £1.00 or more in rake must be generated in the hand. *Beginning November 1, 2005, as a special feature for our smaller limit players, for each hand you participate in which generate at least 0.25 units ($/£/€), but less than 1.00 unit ($/£/€) of rake, will count as 1/4 (or one quarter) of a raked hand toward clearing your bonus.
It may not be "ideal", but it is an improvement ... he needs to define his own strategy based on his own situation, that is my understanding of the way of the whore.

Tracking software nullifies most of this. My guess is that a lot of good/regular players are using it and even if they don't, they would make some sort of note of who to stay away from so they won't really "forget about you." Since the smallest level represented is 0.5/1 lets pretend u can beat that level or at least break -even. (hence its lack of immediate value to noobs)
The CR is best at Party, empire,bet 365 and Riveria.
Now look at the terms of those bonuses and select the most appropriate one for you but bear in mind things previoulsy mentioned:-Br/table selection
Where the CR is particuarly useful is say, WH, where there is no benefit in playing a 5/10 table over a 0.5/1 table for pure whoring ..therefore a whore just seeking bonus would play the lowest level available to collect the bonus. Unless there was a compleling reason to play higher (BR/Table selection) also look at royal vegas, there is little difference between playing 1/2 and 15/30!
So the CR shows you the "speed at which the bonus will clear at any given limit"

I've banned myself from playing poker after 12pm GMT so am now a forum whore too. I am also a noob.
The bonus grid Clearance Rates allow optimal strategie to be created for clearing bonus and is of most benefit to "limitless" BR's. There is little use as a noob except to compare similar bonuses. If you have 2 bonuses that will allow you to play at a game you can beat then you can compare the CR of each and see if there is any advantage in taking one over the other. A more important consideration though, is the difficulty of the games at the two sites in question.
personally i would take a X10 bonus over a X5 if i thought my WR would be considerably higher at the X10 site, but that really is personal opinion.

Poppa, i've been thinking about this issue and EV ( i hate that term) of multiple sites +bonus vs single site + lesser bonus vs single site.
You kinda get to know the people who play a lot on a site and know largely when to stay away and when to buy them, this is good poker.
What do youthink about the value of "getting to know" a larger audience vs concentrating on one or two sites?
Also, is there value in allways moving?

As has been mentioned ad nauseam here, you should struggle to improve your poker game and not focus on how best to squeeze a bonus for every last cent. Bonuses should be seen as gravy and help provide a buffer for the normal variance you will experience playing good poker.
You might want to try the strategy forum for tips on how to improve your game though you will probably want to give some information on what games and limits you play so someone can give you a semi-intelligent answer vs. "yeah, just play tight."
