That *IS* the basic idea of playing poker. While playing winning poker, get paid by the site even more. It's extra dough, and can serve as a safety net in case you are down money while playing the bonus.
The only problem is the limits you play at. I have never played at Golden Palace before (heard bad things), and I don't know if you can clear the bonus requirements playing .5/.1 and .1/.2 nl 6-seaters. Perhaps if you continued playing at this level until you get a feel for the game, then once you handle .25/.5 NL or .5/1 limit, then you could play at Party Poker. Their bonus is good, and it is the juiciest site on the net, the small NL games are FULL of idiots and fish. | | Static Link |

I just started playing real money poker last week, mostly .05/.10 and .10/.20 NL 6-seaters...started with $20 and have won a little bit each day (only play an hour or two each night) and am up to $97.21. I play on GoldenPalace.
So, I just got a reload offer (200% up to $50) from them and looked into it and stumbled across this site.
Should I deposit another $50 and play tight to break even until my action points are cleared and I keep the $100 bonus? I'm just starting out, so I'm just happy to have made $80 this week...want to be careful not to lose it all.
I'm trying to figure out the basic idea of whoring...I mean, if you're good at poker aren't you better off just playing and making money that way rather than trying to fulfill play obligations to make $100?
