I don't see why it makes a difference. They get their rake either way whether you play .5/1 or 1/2. They both rake at a $5 pot. I know it clears quicker at 1/2 but who cares.

yepp or 0.5/1 no limit.
but you can clear it at any limit, I cleared Bet365 November Bonanza on 0.10/0.20 and 0.25/0.50 and I got my money.
Have not heard anyone having prob. with clearing the bet365 bonus on low limit tables. | | Static Link |

Forum: Bonus Whores | Thanks for your comments guys, I went ahead and deposited in Bet365. Happened upon a 0.25/0.50 table with a couple of maniacs last night, and after a couple of hours I'd already cleared over 40 raked hands - nice
And thanks for helping me realize the Royal Vegas "bonus offer" really isn't worth the effort. Oh well, at least playing with the free $10 at Royal got me used to playing at Prima tables. | | Static Link |

You should read it. At the limit you play you will be able to clear the signup (now $100), but not the monthlies (which we don't even know if there is one for December). I'd give it a shot. The Royal Vegas thing sucks big time. There are far better bonuses to be played. (For instance the HeyPoker signup. You could consider Martin's, too, but you're almost out of time.)

Did you check out Zo's 101 guide for more options on starting with a limited BR?
edit: if you are only comfortable at the limit you said - 365 might be a good place to start
Yep, I've been looking at the 101 guide, that's how I started to think about Bet365. Being the newb whore that I am, and my BR being what it is, I don't think I'm (yet) ready to step into $0.50/$1...
everyone has to start somewhere - even WSOP money winner Jim Morrison played $.25/$.50 - albeit he was probably drunk and thought he was playing $25/$50 but that's another story more suited for OT | | Static Link |

I'm newish here (been lurking for a while) so go easy on me...please
I have a BR of about $200, feel comfortable playing 0.25/0.50 limit at the moment. Was playing at Absolute Poker but the raising of rake requirement to $0.50 ruined that for me. I've also been getting a feel for Royal Vegas with the free $10 they offered (haven't deposited there yet).
I'm now considering one of two choices:
1) I got an email from Royal Vegas, offering a max $500 free for a first deposit of $20 or more (released in increments of $20 every time I clear 500 bonus points, which at my limit would be 500 raked hands)
or
2) I could just sign up at Bet365.
Any kind of input/opinions/etc from you wise Whores would be much appreciated. | | Static Link |
