Check the Site Reviews on this site for the one you are interested in, most of the important stuff is listed there on a site by site basis. Or if your trying to decide which site to go next based on all of that, then try the Bonus Whoring 101 page. It wraps all of the things to think about quite well and is easy to follow. | | Static Link |

Splat, I understand how it would take playing
more than >500 hands to clear the 5x100 bonus
on Party. In fact, I just sped through my time
in $10 Max buyin NL at Party and got the bonus in a
shade fewer than 700 hands (okay my VP$IP is high
like a maniac, but hey I survived to live to tell about it).
Now if I do this in a comparable game on another site
which clears based on points, the small amt of rake
each hand, means a much much slower clear rate,
am I correct?
In other words, each raked hand in party is worth
a hand of $1 rake in one of these sites, right? | | Static Link |

Just want to suggest putting this in the FAQ or the
glossary part of BW 101. Glad people are repeatedly
helping other with the same qns though.
Now, I am still confused:
So on a site with "$100 bonus release at 500 points" do
we still call that 5x $100 bonus?
Isn't that rather misleading? Since compared to 5x 100 hands,
the above is significantly harder to clear (if I get my math right).

I'm not entirely sure what your question is because a point is based on the site you're playing at (get 1/4 point for .10 raked hand, etc). A raked hand is what is usually counted. And yes, you will most likely need to play more than 500 hands on a 5x $100 bonus because every hand is rarely raked (especaily at the lower limits). It would be impossible to tell in advance how many hands you'll have to play in order to get 500 raked hands, since... | | Read Entire Entry |

$100 bonus = 500 raked hands
some sites go based on points to release bonues like poker room so you would have to earn 5x the bonus amount in points
$100 bonus release at 500 points

| Posted by: Chas8020 at November 30, 2005, 11:17 am | | Topic: what exactly does all the 5x 10x 20x mean? Forum: Bonus Whores | its the amount of qualified hands u have to play to get the bonus. $100 bonus at 5x means u have to play 500 qualified hands, $100 bonus at 7x is 700, etc.
the difference that is site specific is what qualifies as a "hand". sometimes the rake has to reach a certain amount, sometimes u have to be involved or "contribute" to a hand. all of that info will be in the BW101 or the individual site reviews
